No, he wasn't in Big Red One for sure, don't remember him in United Offensive, and I'm pretty sure he wasn't in CoD3 either. Actually, Reznov is his first video game voice acting role.

Oh ok. I didn't touch any of the CoD games that were spinoffs (Big Red One, Finest Hour) so I didn't even know Treyarch developed them. And I never played United Offensive, didn't know Treyarch did that either.

No and no. Woods is completely forgettable compared to Resnov and Price. As for best shooter, there have been better ones this year. Black Ops is much better than WAW and MW2, but that doesn't mean much, and is nowhere near as balanced as people tout it is.

I love Avatar. Sam Worthington being in Black Ops reminded me of Avatar. Not much more to it.
loved reznov although i would say someone from noble team as one of the best characters, you could tell each had a personality that would reflect onto others

It doesn't deserve it's best character. Reznov was just very one-dimensional. Sure, he [spoiler] randomly betrayed you by brainwashing you [/spoiler] , but it's never understood why or what was going through his mind when he did it. Woods was freaking insane though, I love that guy. He's also 1-D, but he's so ****ing intense, I love it. I wouldn't have minded if he won, but that's only cause I can't take the VGAs seriously and don't expect an actually deep and well done character to win. If that were the case, characters from Mass Effect 2 would have won. Any of them, take your pick.

you got that wrong. woods was being brainwashed by Kravtchenko. Rexnov was ruining Kravtchenko's work by trying to break the brainwashing program and "reprogramming" woods to kill Kravtchenko.
John Marston not winning best character is a crime. Especially losing to a underdeveloped character from COD. No one can beat Marston this year, or RDR for that matter.
:lol: Wait Blops has characters? I'm sorry are you talking about those two dimensional bots? Gosh that's funny. No the characters in Blops are all pretty terrible, by hollywood film or video game standards - yes even the totally predictable and unoriginal Reznov. Yes the singleplayer had an ok, enjoyable (but predictable narrative). That being said best shooter? Hah, hell no. It's a decent game, nothing noteworthy at all.
