Does Black ops deserve best character of 2010 and best shooter?

I still can't believe people think a game has great story/charectars because of big epic scripted events and cutscenes. I know I've mentioned Bioshock 2 twich already, but this is a crime to say that Black Ops has good charectars and Bioshock 2 doesn't get a mention here at all. And some of the alternatives aren't much better either. What's the mention of BC2 in here? Sure for online it's charectars's are great muttering more than 'tango down' but the SP charectars were enjoyable but nothing special

reach is easily the shooter of the year. I can see why people would choose black ops over it though, black ops tends to be very casual friendly.

Nuff said. I really liked Reznov in Black Ops. He was just too awesome. Anyway I say BO is one of the best shooters this year. That or Halo Reach.

No much better characters & the campaign's extremely short length alone denies it best shooter.
