Does MS stand a chance against Sony and Ninty this E3?

High End PC > PS4K Neo > Low End PC > NX > PS4 > XB1 (worst version of multiplats ever made get it off the market)

And don't give me that, that was only the initial step. They would fine tune it, like what it is today. Offline play by setting your Xbox as "Home," so even when you're internet is down, you still can play. The 24 hour check-in would probably have be remove. Game sharing would have been digital. Friend request a game, you set how long they borrow it (day/week/month), game becomes lock to you, but you can withdraw the game back anytime. But we will never know because 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

Like went they remove the Kinect from being a standard. For 8 months they were figuring out how to add Voice Command features to owners without Kinect. That's 8 months they could have been tweaking and adding new features. Yes being able to record clips without voice command is nice. But it took 2 years to add the option of how long to capture. If they kept improving on the Kinect we might have had "Xbox record the last 3 minutes."

If DRM is "console catching up to PC" then why in the hell would you ever want it to catch up?

Also, consoles and PC are about even these days... sure, you have PC enthusiasts that spend $5,000 on their rigs... however, there aren't many games that take advantage of it anyways.

It's just personal preference. It really has been for quite a number of years now. Not everyone is looking forward to an all digital future, and I would hope that consumers fight it tooth and nail all the way to the second video game collapse. If that's what it gets down too.

Microsoft's past few E3's have been awful. So I guess the only way they can go is up.

I think Xbox won it last year ... Playstation did but after we found out FF7 wasn't exclusive to ps4 then it went back to Xbox winning e3 last year ... I wonder what games xbox has coming

I couldn't care less what sony does ... nothing of interest they have in games over the interest i have in xbox one games coming ... i'll still be watching their e3 because some games might interest me

With the prospect of new hardware from potentially all three companies I think this upcoming E3 is going to be amazing all aroiund. Throw in whatever studios like Retro and Rockstar have been working on and mmmmm...gon' be gewd, fo sho.

At E3? I don't know, the hardcore like to see exclusives at E3 and MS ain't real big on exclusives, certainly not to the extent Sony is ... not when it comes to sheer numbers of them anyway. But if we were talking instead about whether or not X1 can make a bit of a comeback on PS4 I think PS4k offers that opportunity. MS now has the chance to do a refresh of their own where they aren't outgunned on specs like they currently are. I think it'd be tougher for them cuz it seems to me that the memory architecture of X1 puts up additional challenges to them with something like that but if they can pull it off and it be as powerful or even more so than Sony's refresh then it could be a boost for them.

As usual; MS wins and it won't even be close. :P

You're comparing apples to oranges. A console is a pick-up-and-play platform that should be made for ease of use. My rule of thumb is, if a 6 year old can't turn the thing on and play a game, it has failed at its purpose.

Steam and PC, on the other hand, is a generation-less platform. If you've been PC gaming as long as I have, you know that your library is still good. Steam fulfills a need where one owner continually goes through hardware cycles, upgrades, and rebuilds. In essence, PC gaming is the one ring to rule them all. How or why you would want a console that's only relevant for four years or so to play by the same rules is just way outside of my power to comprehend.
