No. But it is kinda funny when talking to a PC gamer and they admit to using primarily a controller. Then later on they argue PCs have more control than consoles.

I've talked to gamers in real life that have said all that in a conversation over the course of 15 minutes and they had no idea of the contradiction.

I have all the control. I am the supreme master of all that is controlling. I can use the xbox controller, the PS3 controller, the keyboard and mouse, the NES controller, a Wii controller, a Kinect (well, sorta), and whatever I damn well please. Pretty soon I will be using my mind. I AM control.

Those already exist :D

Sweet sweet flames of glory are burning me alive! I will conquer the manipulation of all things virtual!!

If someone really thinks that, then your PC must be a Xbox 1080! :P

Lol... Not many of those guys. Most PC games are infinitely better with Kb/M. A fair share are arguably unplayable with a gamepad.

Of course not. You're taking advantage of one of PC gamings many advantages.

Phoenix534

Pretty much this, the advantage of the PC is you have many options you can choose and regardless of any bias some games just play better with a controller, personally one of the the main advantages i find using a controller on the PC rather than a console is you quite often still have quick access to menu's/inventory/journal's/maps through shortcut keys on the KB.

PC does have more control.... you can pick between thousands of controllers or K+M, while on consoles your stuck with one controller, so in a sense it does have more control (options) :P

Yes, but with one or two controllers, developers know what you have and how to use it. It's why my Move has games, and my Razer Hydra is an unsupported paperweight.

Move is supported by a few games. Welcome to the world of customisable drivers, and an array of developer support for a far more diverse range of games. If you can't be bothered then stick to the 'officially supported games' (as if this means something on the PC), while I can go play HL2 with a wiimote.

System Wars, not Lowe0 Wars. Please feel free to return to this thread when you have something of value to contribute.

Strange they announced one game that's getting native support is Deep Black which will also being using PS move for the PS3 version. They also hinted for FPS fans that theyll be revealing something to the media in 3 months. They're also considering working for others like devs for the mech game Hawken.

Also aren't most of these PS move supported titles PS3 first party exclusives ;)

Also isn't this Killzone 3 move control just moving the gun and crosshair freely which you can probably do for PC games by using the console command.

I don't want announcements and hints, I want results. And yes, the major Move titles are first party - why should I care? They're still good games. Finally, feel free to post the console command for free crosshair movement in, say, Bad Company 2 (which is on the supported list). We're talking about entertainment. I already have a place where I can get my fill of solving technical problems. It's called work.

Maybe at heart, but no.

Pc+gaming on it=pc gamer. You just like to use a different approach. I couldn't imagine playing every fps or rts with them though. Just racers, platformers, puzzle games, and the less complex action games mass effect 2.

Nope, I played through The Witcher 2 with a 360 controller and will probobly do the same with Skyrim. All the benifits of PC, with the comort and big screen of a console. Not all games are made for keyboard + mouse, some games actually do favor a gamepad. Pretty much PC gamers have a choice of which input method they prefer rather than being forced to use one or the other.

I prefer the 360 controller. I hate trying to play with a keyboard from the couch.

No. Some games play better with a controller. Using a 360 controller on PC just makes consoles that much more obsolete.

No. Some games plays better with a different kind of controller other than Keyboard and Mouse. It's not something new. I used to play Commander Keen with a Gamepad and Tie Fighter with a Joystick back in early 90's.
