Does Ps3 really have ANYTHING on Halo 3?

And it was too much fun, me and 5 of my friends playing around on maps we created with the sweet editor. We changed the color settings and made the gravity super low and the speed super fast and then toyed with it for a while.

Does the Ps3 have any multiplayer that is equal to or better than Halo 3?

With Reach coming out sporting every Halo 3 feature and more. I dont think there will ever be a fabled "Halo Killer"

I thought Resistance 2 was really fun and was comparable with Halo 3. But i do agree that Halo 3 is one of the funnest multiplayer games i have ever played. So my answer is no the PS3 has nothing that is really better than Halo 3 in terms of muliplayer, but we do have plenty of games that do better in overall preformance

That's just so essentially Halo, anything like that would just feel redundant.

Forge is pretty awesome, needs a small overhaul, hopefully with Reach.

and to an above question. I think Resistance 2 has 8-player campaign co-op. Something Halo does not have.

I don't think any other console shooter can match Halo in pure features or just overall greatness. MS sure was lucky to grab that IP. Seems really lucky now.

I'd take a R2 and KZ2 over Halo 3 any day.

I have all the Halo games. Heck I bought Halo CE before the xbox even came out. BUT I have to say...I DONT LIKE THE ONLY PLAY at all with any Halo game. Its just blah.

I like playing the coop splitscreen though. Its ok. AND I did like playing splitscreen team death match or death match with Halo CE. Its a good series of games, but nothing I have to have anylonger.

I dont care about online play these days and im pretty beat to death with shooters. As far as Sonys "big guns" I would say its KZ2,R2, and soon to be SOCOM. As far as im concerned they are all about equal to me...maybe not going by how many people will actually be playing the games online, but just overall..

The whole Halo universe just bores me now, I'm hoping Reach changes that.

LBP is my Multiplayer game of the Gen. But both games are so different. LBP needs a better server:(

Couldn't disagree more. Halo 3 deserves all the praise it gets. The SP is solid while the MP is nothing short of amazing. It's an opinion though, just like I feel the God of War series is over rated (fun though, but over rated).

To begin with i dont like play multiplayer on consoles, but Killzone2 should be good they say.

PS3 has plenty on Halo 3, having played all the Halos i would say 3 was quite easily the worst of the lot (actually ODST was but thats more of a spin off) Maybe its the fact that casuals lap this game up or maybe its the hype but Halo 1 >>>>>>>> Halo 2 >>>>> Halo 3 easily. As far as multiplayer goes Battlefield >>>>>>>>> Halo IMO

Uncharted 2 could have in a lot of areas, the biggest problem is people didnt take it that seriously as a multiplayer yet it was a really killer app for sony.Its a shame to see such a small amount of people playing it.

What would help is if they tweaked the matchmaking to be faster and a bit better.In a features sense it does come pretty close to halo 3 but its a game i havent had much experience with.But imo Uncharted is one of the closest to me.

Single player was barely 5 hours, you can technically be able to hit enemies down within 1 or 2 hits with your gun. Graphics are mediocre even for its time. While i enjoyed the game, the formula remained the same with "HD" tagged on it. I adored Halo 1, but i think the series seriously has gone down hill. Its only being known for its multiplayer now, and to be frank, while its amazing, i still prefer Unreal 2004 online by a long shot.

EDIT: oh for ps3, i do enjoy KZ2, U2, Warhawk, and Battlefield so yeah, and i personally do enjoy those titles more online than i did with Halo.

I liked every Multiplayer game out there better than Halo 3 so yes.

COD4 is still my favourite multiplayer FPS, but in terms of exclusives, nope. The PS3 has nothing that can rival Halo 3's mutliplayer. From an objective standpoint it has the most features and a lot of depth.

Sure it can be fun, but on the consoles it's community is tiny and it doesn't even come close to Halo's online features.

It's been about a year since I last said it so it's overdue.

Halo 3 is the finest most complete, smooth as silk single game package delivered this gen., at least until Reach hits the the street.
