[QUOTE="Big_T-Mac"] animation wise, in kz2 those 2 guys in a row getting hosed with bullets was pretty sweet, but texture and poly wise its not even at halo 3 level yet. theyve still got work to do.Mandingo101
poly wise it surpasses halo, textures is better on halo right now IMO, it has more colors, but they got rid of the bump mapping on the chief maybe for ram reasons, had to dedicate more to the cpu prolly which i can understand. but KZ2 has much time to improve the textures.
i will buy both though, they are different type of games going for different **** and are on opposite ends of the FPS spectrum
not u again. first off, they didnt remove any bump mapping, they changed it. he went from having a glossy concrete finish to a more metal armor finish. the bump mappings still there, dont kid urself into thinking otherwise.poly wise is alot harder to prove either way, but all of the kz2 screens show nothing but hard lines, whereas h3 has shown a wider variety of smooth and bigger environments. this is why i find ur opinion of colors confusing. in ever in-game shot from the trailer theres practically 2 colors, gray and orange. in the h3 trailer u've seen a huge number of environments from indoors, desert, jungle, snowcovered areas, cliffs and rocky terrains, to beaches and etc, etc, etc.
just look at the shots:

best kz2 screenshot (given theres only 4 to choose from, but still)

a halo 3 shot.
saying the textures are even comparable is insane.
