If you change the title to cheapest price, Ill agree... though there are other factors as well.

I don't agree if it was Cheapest Price the GCN should've won it was the cheapest last gen.If you change the title to cheapest price, Ill agree... though there are other factors as well.

I would agree about the 5th generation and the 7th generation because the 5th Generation the PS1 and the N64 were the same price if I remember correctly.
The 7th Generation the Wii is the cheapest.

you may be right... I coulda swore the PS2 and GCN were the same price with the XBOX being 50 bucks more. but im probably wrong. I worked at bestbuy the day they were all released, PS2 was impossible to buy and the GCN and XBOX released later on and that was mayhem as well.[QUOTE="Nintendo_Ownes7"]I don't agree if it was Cheapest Price the GCN should've won it was the cheapest last gen.[QUOTE="TheEroica"]

Although, if I remember right, the Ps2 got a $50 price cut when the xbox and gamecube came out. So I do think the xbox was the most expensive by the time they all had launched.

Actually, he's incorrect. He completely forgot about the SEGA Dreamcast as well as other past Sega machines, like the Saturn.
dreamcast was the era of the ps2/xbox/ GC. But ya he is leaving out alot of consoles.Recently it seems so. Although it's more so about releasing your system 1st and establishing your product with consumers early which leaves less time to develop more powerful tech, resulting in a slightly weaker system.
1)wii is a console that many ps3 or xbox360 owners will buy becouse its different and cheap.A ps3 owner is less likely to buy an xbox 360 or via versa becouse they are the same
2)all 3 consoles were trying to compete in the same field.Ps2 had the largest support of developers so the bigest game library.(many broght ps2 for dvd player was a blast back then)
3)ds have many good games as for psp you can count them with your fingers.
4)Gba with nokia engage no comment in that
5)n64 has a cartridge so developers were looking for space to put theyr ideas so they choose ps1 so ps1 have a bigest game library(many brought ps1 for cd player too was a blast back then)
and dont always count the sales look deeper.........
