as a video game, Mass Effect 2 is still one of the best, pristine gameplay, sharp graphics, and for being a middle sequel, one of the best delivered plots with memorable set pieces, some of the best companion characters in any video game, a highly appropriate soundtrack and incredible deliverance of empathy for the player. i do CONCIDER mass effect 2 to be one of the best video games of the last 10 years, all time is always debatable however.

and going by your "score" logic, ME 2 still stands up there with a measly 4 percent less than a perfect metacritic scorehttp://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/mass-effect-2.

If a exclusive (PC in my case) is already out and THEN goes to consoles, then no.

But if a game is announced as an exclusive, but starts being developed for PC and consoles simultaniuously, yes.

In the real world. Of course not, although exclusives do tend to be my favorite games they usually have a certain polish about them that multiplats don't.

it hurts cows. weird though they care for exclusives so much yet when the multiplat ME2 was annouced for ps3 they exploded

i thought they had high end pcs LOL and it was already multiplat yet they make lots of threads

But if a game is announced as an exclusive, but starts being developed for PC and consoles simultaniuously, yes.

I think the question is does a game becoming multiplat automatically become worse due to being a multiplat. It's pretty much given fact that PC games often deteriorate when development goes multiplat and the PC version is dumbed down to be console compatible. But I think the question being posed is more does a game automatically become worse just for the fact that it's a multiplat.

Mass Effect 2 has a 96 on Metacritic... I think that qualifies as one of the best games ever made :|. It's pretty much given that ME3 will be multiplat, anyone arguing against this is a fool.

Yes, mainly because when a game is made with a console in mind, it is almost always dumbed down for the masses.

it's alright, when you play it you'll understand.

I dunno if they've played it or not it's not like they're making completely outlandish statements or anything, just saying it's overrated which is understandable.

What the hell... it was NEVER in Microsoft's hands it was always owned by Bioware they just chose to make it on the 360 and PC it was completely their choice if they wanted to make a PS3 version or not.

I understand but you're saying based on scores it's not one of the best games ever which is flat out wrong it's one of the most critically acclaimed games ever. I misinterpreted your post though I thought you were saying they needed a crystal ball to tell if it'd be multiplat or not.

Calm down dude, I meant publishing wise. All EA has given me is major headaches to do with single use codes and the Cerberus Network (very long story, but basically EA can burn in hell).
