And why cant pc go to living room
A second PC can go into your living room but your only PC will not go into the living room for most people. Who's really going to sit on their couch and do work in their living room on the 4k tv? Only because you want a few more fps or resolution, it's just not happening. And don't tell me someone is going to be moving their big dog PC around the house. LOL, not happening.
I have my PC in the den with a 25 foot HDMI cable that runs out to my living room tv.
I also have a 25 foot usb cable that runs under my coffee table and a usb port hub that my keyboard, mouse and game controllers plug into.
So I have one PC that is hooked up two to screens in separate rooms with each room having it's own controllers.
Also forgot to mention I have another 25 foot HDMI cable that runs from my PC in the den to a separate room for HTC Vive gaming.
So yes PC is the ruler of all.
Here is how I did it when I was living in a condo
Large desk where the TV would go, large PC monitor on the desk (27" or so).
Couch, about 5 feet behind the front of the desk.
when Couch for movies, move chair, when gaming, move chair back.
My thought when I did a redesign was this basic idea:
Nearly everything in a home is placed where it is out of tradition. Most of it is not inherit to making ones biological reality any better. for example, sleeping in a bed in the living room is not biologically worse then sleeping in a bed in the bed room.
So lets move everything around to suit function, see how it feels aesthetically and move from there.
it worked very well just straight up functional
