Does the Wii U start the next generation of consoles?

The term generation has lost its meaning in general. Most people associate a next gen game with better graphics, but relative to the 6th gen, Minecraft is a next gen game if we go by the timeframe definition, and it has graphics from 3-4 gens ago!

These associations are meaningless today. I mean, Pushmo on 3DS is a next gen game! It's crazy how fast the industry is moving. People who still associate games with graphics or something other than a simple timeframe need to go out more, instead they use "but THIS is a TRUE next gen game!!!" when refering to some random AAA dev tech demo, LOL

Next gen will play out just like this gen. Wii U will win.
