Is that really your intent? All I'm seeing is a softball question. Why don't we try with something more interesting and disputable like:
Is WiiU's hardware closer to next gen or to current gen?
Because that was never in dispute, not even by the most braindead of all sheep. It's closer to this gen than next gen, of course. Unless both Microsoft and Sony decide to pull a Wii next gen, Wii U is closer to this generation's hardware than it ever will be to next gen hardware. Is that really your intent? The question is, who cares?chcolatecookies
This.
The term generation has lost its meaning in general. Most people associate a next gen game with better graphics, but relative to the 6th gen, Minecraft is a next gen game if we go by the timeframe definition, and it has graphics from 3-4 gens ago!
These associations are meaningless today. I mean, Pushmo on 3DS is a next gen game! It's crazy how fast the industry is moving. People who still associate games with graphics or something other than a simple timeframe need to go out more, instead they use "but THIS is a TRUE next gen game!!!" when refering to some random AAA dev tech demo, LOL

So you gotta know that most of the people who make such a statement are actually trolling because of the reasons outlined by you.
Honestly dude, I wish they were. Quite a bit of them actually believe all this sh*t.So you gotta know that most of the people who make such a statement are actually trolling because of the reasons outlined by you.

Ok, so when PS4 and next Box arrive does this mean a new generetions starts ?!? Because i don't see anything next gen in the Wii-U ! Perhaps it's the next gen for Nintendo !
Yes unless you're a cow. Then next gen doesn't start till around 2025. Got to give the good ol' failstation 3 time to take over 2nd place. todd2r_Partdeux
I feel the butthurt in you is strong, very strong !!!

A most noble undertaking, but you may want to be careful with all the thread making. You don't want to become the next Nameless12345, right?
