Does XSX have the worst launch lineup ever?

And there you have it since 5 years from now no one will talk about xbox launch games, it is ok to have a totally shitty line up, hell 20 years from now we wont talk about the series X much so why have a good line up the entire gen while your at it.

For real are you going to go there while the biggest name on the xbox launch list is this?

Even Resugun had a bigger score than this.

Also lets not forget the xbox one launch line up while it did have some exclusives most were terrible.

Not even Forza 5 was able to score a 80% in 2013.

Even Gears 5 is on that list how the fu** gears 5 is there? The game came 1 year ago and by the way it scored 82%, hell if MS can use Gears 5 as a damn launch game, damn sony can use Ghost of Tsushima, TLOU2 and FF7 remake that came in this year all higher rated than Gears 5 by the way.

You know what the real sad part here is? That we see now very clear why MS was pushing backward compatibility with so much effort and shooting for the series X to enhance its games that is what you will play for some time now, 2001 doesn't look any better for the xbox, while the PS5 look freaking hot in 2021.

Sony always has crappy launch titles. What has ever stood out by them? What even stands out next gen? A remake of a crappy souls niche game? The OG Xbox launched one of the strongest franchises in gaming history. Fantavision? Forgotten.

How are they filler? Astro's Playroom is a sequel to Astro Bot and is a free game that is already downloaded to the PS5. It was made specifically for the PS5. Miles Morales is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Meanwhile, I believe it was you who said MS moved Gears Tactics to launch just to give the system a game lol. And you also admitted that you don't have anything preordered. And you're SW's biggest Lem. So what does that mean when SW's biggest Lem isn't even that hyped for the XSX at launch?

I think both launch lineup are pretty bad. Xbox do have gamepass which you get all the old games. But if you have been a dedicated PC player that has their majority games on Steam gamepass is not overly appealing as 70% of games PC players probably played before at one point.

I'd be more interested in Gears Tactics than anything on the PS5. Spiderman looks like a game I'll pick up in a year for $10....maybe. It doesn't seem like a real sequel. Spiderman 1.5 with a different character.

who cares if miles is ps4 game to. all of xbox first party until 2022 will be also for xbox one.

its still a game that you can buy on the ps5. but miles is much bigger game to launch with than gears tactic.

People who don't have a pc or can't afford to buy one will find XSX very appealing.

What games are the filler for the Series X? Keep in mind that they share 8 games and the difference in unique titles is 2.

it counts as a new game to that person. i never played demon souls on the ps3 so it is a new game for me.

and for the person that never played demon souls.

to them its a new ps5 game.

if Alan wake got a remake not remastered on the series x would it still be a 360 game? can you play the remake on the 360? no you can't. fact is demon souls remake is a new game for the ps5 made on there dev kits.

they changed the entire game. level design is all new. the characters models are new.

shadow of the colossus remake is the same thing. the remake can't be played on the ps3 or ps2.

its a remake for the ps4. remake and remasters are two different things.

I love remakes it gives you a updated look and feel. not just hd remaster bumps were the game still looks dated.

adding pc gear tactics and Tetris effect can be on gamepass now but xbox is waiting to do so to make the series x launch line up look better. make it look like there new games.

remaster is just the same game like character models etc. in hd

remakes is a game done on the new hardware with updated textures, lighting, character models etc.

Gears is on PC and Tetris is a multiplayer mode to a game release on PS4 in 2018.that mode will arrive on PS and PC free latter on.

Dreamcast, had the best launch lineup ever.

The PS3 was horrific I only picked up motorstorm thinking back but this series X/S line is kind of light in terms of 1st party but still plenty to play.

Agreed. Having the best exclusives and the biggest online community will make PS5 the best place to play.
