Doesn't 360 Oblivion look just as good as PS3 version now after patch?

I just saw the post saying you played it at your friends. Well, what you play it on, and how you have it hooked up makes a big difference in how it looks. So I don't think a comparison could be made unless it was played on the same TV, using the same brand of cables. That would be a FAIR comparison.

And even if the PS3's version DOES look better, (which is just fine, I own a ps3, too) it appears the differences are hardly worth mentioning, let alone using as some kind of point, or ownage.

Um actually I finshed the game last year once again if you looked at my gamertag(TheSterls) and looked at all the acheivement points i unlocked on the 360 verison then you would realize I own both platforms and am not a lame fanboy who hates on a system I cant afford.  The fact is im not a fanboy you are and both systems have there advantage the fact is the PS3 is more powerful and thers plenty of games ill be buying for both my systems this summer.

But better looking multipalt games will become a regular on the PS3 once people start to get use to the hardware its something you will have to get use to.

I bought the PS3 version because I wanted to play knights of the nine because it wasnt in the xbox 360 version and its included with ps3. I know its on xbl gold but I dont use that because it sucks to me. plus the PS3 version was 50 bucks at circuit city.

PS3 has smoother textures and less popping and less load times.

In the GT comparison vid a building in the 360 version popped out of no where. 

The PS3 version had a years extra Dev time and looks better than the 360 version, get over it and move on.

That second screen is from last year. 

sure some games will look better under a microscope on one system to another.  it is gonna flip flop like that for pretty much every game.  one thing that i learned at my store dealing with customers.  XB0X 360 is for serious gamers and the PS3 is for people who think they are serious gamers.
