Eh? Another Donkey Kong game? Who actually cares? The only game I want to see Donkey in is in Mario Kart for the Wii and in SSB:B.

...Of course, I'm willing to make an exception with the Virtual Console Donkey Kong Country games.

Yeah, it is pretty sad that the Video Game Industry is just one big old competition, though.

The thing is they don't like something and they want it to do bad. They could just ignore it but no. Some guy could prefer the 360 and want it to win, but he doesn't have to show hate to the other consoles and wish them to fail. If anything, haters are taking videogames way too seriously.

Between this, Gingerbread Man and Carnival Games, the Wii is looking to be the best console in years.

No, their standards have dropped and being their IP they could have stepped in at any time. Its just money to them now. They don't use the seal of quality anymore and no Nintendo system has ever seen this amount of pure garbage. Now the SNES days were the golden era, were you gaming back then at all?

Nintendo ought to know better than to release something so shoddy and genuinely unpleasant to play, especially considering Nintendo practically invented this genre.

Ehhhh, I don't see how any rational minded person could have expected anything higher than this. It's bad enough when a game with traditional controls gets ported over to the Wii's control set-up, but when a game originally designed for those stupid bongos gets ported to Wii controls. . . for the love of the god that's just stupid. The game should have just been developed for the GC and left at that.Robio_basic

Would Bongos really make this game any better? I didn't read the review but Bongo's wouldn't change the horrible gameplay.

It's not even the same game. Donkey Kong Jungle Beat/Konga was a rhythm game and this is an arcade racer.
