It might be worth just making a new one. This thread was created far too early. It still comes out in over two months. That way you can get a more realistic hype (ie more current views), and you'll have the poll back.
No point doing these hype threads. Instead of people saying what they think they complain that gamespot will undervalue it purposely just so later they can say "exceeded hype!" if it's given a good score or "hype met" if it is disappointing.
They are completely worthless because people aren't honest. You could hype something 1/10 and then talk it up when it receives a 7, but if that game is all you've been talking about all year you really valued it more than that.

I'm sure Gamespot will score this AA, but my personal hype is 9/10 at least. I love the series, and Retro did an awesome job on the last one, making me a bid less sad about what happened to Rare.
Everything I've seen of this game looks promising, and so this is a day one buy.
I must say the only thing that's brought down my hype for this game is the kong-pow gameplay mechanic. One of the best parts of Donkey Kong Country Returns is the challenge. This mechanic seems like something one could rely on to really dull that aspect in some levels. I like precision over a scatter shot move like that.
