i didnt notice, btw, GTHD and GTP are using the game engine from the ps2 versions of the game but running in higher res. GT5 is going to look much better with a new engine.

Yeah, Spruce's pic is a good representation (and before someone *****es about the jaggys, right click->view image). It's nowhere near as good looking as the various bullshots would have you believe, but it's still better looking than any other racer on consoles (that said, I'd say PGR4 has a better "art style", for lack of a better term).

Also, you have to remember that with any racing game screenshots will look worse than the game in action, simply because of the use of motion blur and the highly-focused nature of the game (ie you spend 99% of your time staring at the centre of the screen). If you have the time to notice the crowd is 2D or the grass is really low-res, you're doing it wrong.

Uncharted doesnt compare to Gears 2. KZ 2 very much so but not Uncharted. If we go the Uncharted is better looking than Gears 2 route then lets say that UT 3 looks better than Crysis.V_Zarnold_N

In GT5P's case, all we were seeing were bullshots. Honestly, these are the first true ingame pics I've seen of the game after all this time and I'm lol'in.TheNextOrder

That's pretty brutal the environments are looking awful. Terrible geometry, lighting, textures and lack of environemental particle effects. Very dissapointing imo.
