On pc if I were to get it.. Which I won't.. The game doesn't look like it has what made the pre Doom 3 games so good.. They got some inspiration from Brutal Doom but they left out one of the most important aspects of the game.. Doom 4 is still at heart a CoD mechanics game with throwing small amounts of enemies, most enemies being incredibly durable, and your movement being incredibly slowed down..
If I had any complaints with the game, I would probably say something similar. The super shotgun especially feels underpowered. The movement isn't quite as fast as the old games either, but that doesn't bother me as much as the durability of some of the enemies. I also felt like the plasma rifle was kind of pointless. However I really do think that the game looks fun, and it definitely has potential. There's a lot that can change from now until the game comes out, so I'm hopeful for the best.
@jereb31: I don't give them the benefit of a doubt anymore for physical releases.
Cause checking yourself is hard?
It's bethesda which they are all about steamworks.. there might be a physical release but it's still tied to an account and you are licensed to use it.
