Actually I'd say trophies are alot more indepth than achievements. Trophies have a leveling up system, whereas Achievements just slap on more gamerscore. Plus you get an extra trophy for those that are extra hardcore.

gamespot gave the PS3 a 9 and the 360 an 8.5 because the 360 version has some issues (you can read about them in the review) so I would go with the ps3.

I can't Decide! I want the Achievement feature for it(Trophies does not satisfy me) But at the same time I want the game to look beautiful. What would be my best bet?

The game doesn't look worse on the 360 though. hey, you have both consoles. How about you check them out? Both running on a 1080p TV with HDMI. I dare you to actually find difference. It's quite obvious Gamespot chose to give the PS3 the better score to make up for Borderlands. Of course the game doesn't look worse, Ps3 version just looks and load better than the 360 version.[QUOTE="xsubtownerx"] The game doesn't look worse on the 360 though. hey, you have both consoles. Have you played both of the games? Well, he is defending the 360 version, it's obvious he haven't

I think this is the third time in the past 24 hours that I've posted this link in a thread, but this is required reading for you, sir.
Just get it for whatever controller you find more comfortable.

YES.... this it it!
I own both 360 and PS3 and whilst many people may be confused as to why I went for the 360 version I have to say I made the right choice based on the controller. I love the 360 controller, its the weight....the ps3 controller would just annoy me personally for this game.
As for graphics.... to be honest its really not that bad - I don't look at it and think "oh man these graphics are soo awful.... its actually 'OK' because its such a good game you get immeresed into the story rather than counting pixels.
This is all on a hd projector (100") screen.
If your top priority is graphics then by all means as the reviews have already stated PS3 > 360 ..... like I said for me, If I'm going to be playing a game that is 60+ hours, I want a comfortable controler and so 360 is the one I got.
You want beauty? Read the GS review. PS3 version looks great, 360 doesn't.I can't Decide! I want the Achievement feature for it(Trophies does not satisfy me) But at the same time I want the game to look beautiful. What would be my best bet?

From the GS review...
"the Xbox 360 version looks positively disappointing. Textures are highly compressed and colors are washed out, though the upside is that this version maintains a smoother frame rate than on the PlayStation 3, where things might get jittery when swiveling the camera around. The PlayStation 3 version features higher-quality textures than those on the Xbox 360, better color saturation, smoother facial animations, and shorter load times. Minor visual hiccups, like corpses that disappear and reappear, are a bit more common on the PS3, however. The PC version is the superior experience, but if you're choosing between the two console releases, the PlayStation 3 has the upper hand."
I would go with the PS3 versionif PC is out of the question.
If at all remotely possible, get the PC version.
I'm able to play it on my laptop, 2.2ghz core2duo, 4gb ram, 8600 mobile GT 256mb.
FPS is low (15-25), but I'd much rather have low FPS in a game where FPS doesn't really matter in order to get the vastly superior PC gameplay.
GS is the only place to say the PS3 version is better ... It's not fact, it's opinion. Having played them both, they both look the same, bar one or two slight differences.
The PS3 has better ground and tree textures, AT TIMES, not consistently. The 360 version has better water effects, less graphical glitches and smoother framerate in the larger battles.
None of the above mentioned things will bother you at all, except maybe the framerate at the higher difficultys when you really have to make everys econd count.
Cookigaki always wonder why people claim to played both version of the same gameCookigakiI've always wondered why Cookigaki always refers to himself in the third person.
