This is great news. It was sad when the Playstation 1 verison was canned for the U.S.
I'm looking forward to this along with Dragon Quest V, VI and IX. =)
This has got to be one of the last games for the DS. Come on Nintendo, announce DS2 at E3!w3stfa11the DS2 needs the BC with DS, more ram, higher res, and a virtual console for GB-GBA games
wOOt, more great RPGs for my dear little DS.
Frankly, as a RPG fan, I am simply astonished how the DS has such a large library of quality RPG releases. The recent "The World Ends With You" is yet another proof that Square-Enix remains as one of the world's greatest top-tier RPG developers out there. The game is mindblowingly impressive. And I loved DQ8... Can't wait to get my hands on DQIV! (and FF4 DS... and DQV... and DQVI... and DQIX...).
Home Console jRPGs are shamefully weak compared to the great library Nintendo has achieved on its handheld console.

Uh... Yes they did. They developed the game along with Team Jupiter. These guys are the ones who made the Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories game on the GBA.

PSP is doing fine. DS is getting both of the remakes released last year in Japan; Final Fantasy 4 DS and Dragon Quest 4. PSP is getting Dissidia - the new SquareEnix fighting game with 48 playable characters and villains from FF titles.
Sweet. Besides Dragon Warrior, I've never had a chance to play any of the classic DQ games.

The first three points are a given, and I have a good feeling about the last one.

A fighting game? Eh, SquareEnix should really stick to what they're good at, and that's RPGs.

I heard that it would have slight RPG elements.
