Dragon's Crown looks REALLY REALLY AWESOME!! The gameplay, art style, and everything about the game looks AWESOME!!
On the other hand, Tales of Xillia looks lame and generic in comparison. Nothing unique about it, and it just looks stupid.

Baurus? so he is the new one uh?
Anyway, Tales of Xilia looks like one of the best RPGs this gen, behind Xenoblade Chronicles of course.

Wow looks like two completely different genres to me. So why are they being compared?

Nope, they're both Action RPGs.
I'm getting them both. Tales is more about the story and gameplay then how graphically superior it looks. Both games look great to me. http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/tales-of-xillia/trailers/3585070Dragon's Crown looks REALLY REALLY AWESOME!! No they are absolutely nothing alike is what I've been saying.
Look I love Atlus I'm a huge fan of persona and the shin megami tensei series, but in my opinion you must just be an idiot to even compare these games.
Go do something worthwhile troll.

Again, they are both Action RPGs, same genre, and Dragon's Crown looks leagues better.

Sorry buddy but it's all in your own opinion, and these games are so different in my opinion they shouldn't be compared.
It's like comparing Dark Souls to skyrim they are so different it is really quite stupid to even compare them.
Im buying both Tales of Xillia and Dragons Crown but I wouldnt be suprised if Dragons Crown is in fact a better game, because from what I hear Tales of Xillia is a rushed, in fact even the director of Tales Xillia outright stated they rushed the game if remember correctly
If I were to get either game I'd get Dragon's Crown. I lost interest in the Tales series after Vesperia.
[QUOTE="funsohng"]This is a stupid thread, but yeah, so far I really haven't seen a lot of people who were entirely satisfied with Japanese Xilia version. Tales has lost its ways in my opinion.Sweenix
It's the highest rated tales game on famitsu
Of course, it's famitsu. If famitsu has been handing out high scores for 5-6 years now. I wouldn't take their reviews seriously, nor should anyone.I don't even know why these two games are being compared, but between the two Tales of Xillia wins by a mile. While Dragons Crown looks interesting, it still comes off as a Beat em up with RPG elements for the combat and leveling, but it looks to lack Character personality depth, exploring world maps, a more detailed plot and such. Tales is a traditional JRPG in the sense that it's going to have tons of cutscenes, character conversations that build character depth and give them personalities to releate with as well. Also, the characters look much more interesting in Xillia, mainly because they actually look like people and look they will be able to be related to. As with Dragons Crown...
With Dragons Crown I can't stand the body proportions. This isn't even going to how oversized the boobs are, I can't take it seriously when the character is standing from the side, and her further away boob sticks way out when it should be more hidden in reality. That does irk me quite a bit and the running and firing animations are rediculous with the boob jiggle. It's a laugh, but not one I take seriously. There will also probobly next to no character interations meaning they are just a sprite on the screen, nothing more, there won't be anything to relate to the characters with as there looks to be no Character Depth.
Thats just a small thing that irks me, otherwise it still looks like a good game, but Tales falls much more inline with the traditional rpg and is the game for Day 1 buy for me.
