Which of these two games do you think will be better and why?

I have.
Risen 2 could be really good, they have changed a few things from Risen
Capcoms recent track record has been terrible, Dimps are the only good thing about Capcom... even then i would rather they make Burst limit 2, sick of SF rehashes

I would have to play them to know. But since I wont be playing dragons dogma *I don't buy capcom games anymore* then I'll never be able to say which one is better.
Ok seems people think Risen 2 is not a bad game, so I'll make some videos showing just how bad it really is.
-Unreal-
Have you played Risen 1 or Gothic before? Just curious.

Yes, Risen and Gothic 3. I was about to mention that Risen 2's quality reminded me of Two Worlds 2.Yes, Risen and Gothic 3. I was about to mention that Risen 2's quality reminded me of Two Worlds 2.-Unreal-
But Two Worlds 2 was pretty good :|

Two Worlds 2 was a good game.SaltyMeatballsDoes it still have the sh!tty quest interface the first one had?
Not sure about Risen 2, but Dragon's Dogma doesn't look that good.And it's Crapcom.IAmNot_fun
lol, what does that supposed to mean?
regardless of some of the crappy practices they have inherited FROM WESTERN DEVELOPERS capcom are among the best when it comes to producing a quality product. Capcom(having a long history of producing well know fighting games) know more about polished gameplay than the entire lot of crappy western developers put together. Most western developers who wouldn't know good gameplay if it kicked them in the face.
Your "and it's crapcom" comment honestly makes you look pretty stupid.
expressing you don't like capcoms recent practices of DLC and super-edition of games is one thing, but trying to suggest that they aren't an excellent development company producing high quality games, well polished, with tight and well thought out gameplay is another.
Dragon's Dogma already looks better than the majority of open world RPGs for this reason, also it looks like they are closely following From Software's game philosophy from the souls series which is more reason to think it will be a better than your traditional open world WRPG.
think i'll stick with the witcher 2 for my next rpg. oxm seemed to like it though

i have the witcher 2, honestly this looks alot better in gamplay and other things.
What other things? I am guessing that it reminds you of dark souls is clouding your mind. Dragon's Dogma looks awful and when did capcom ever do a decent RPG? And IF you even think of Monster Hunter, then you don't need to even waste your or my time writing an answer.Xenoblade (Out later today! Woo!)
Monster Hunter 4
Guild Wars 2
While I do love Gothic 2 and 3 and see Risen 2 as a general improvement,
Something tells me that I should wait for a few patches before I get it.
As for Dragon's Dogma, it looks like a 'transition game' for Monster Hunter 4.
Not a bad thing in itself, but the combat seems mindless to me.
So yeah, Risen 2.
Does it still have the sh!tty quest interface the first one had? I didn't play the first so I don't know, but it was a solid RPG with a huge world, many quests, and nice graphics.
Two Worlds 2 was a good game.freedomfreak

you really wouldn't have to ask if you did. Depth, exploration, combat, world interaction, dynamics like how things change during the time of day, team combat interaction (you actually have some control over who the people helping you in battle, what the wear, abilities ect) yeah...like I said other things.
I'm really looking forward to Risen 2, since I loved Risen so much. As said earlier, it'll probably be the better RPG.
But the combat in Dragon's Dogma looks excellent, and there seems to be some real playstyle variety between the classes. Would've been nice if the game was co-op, though.
