FIrst of all this game is awesome looking. uh? what are you talking about? gears of war is my favorite game this year for consoles. im not even comparing the 2 to each other. but yah TOO human is going to flop you can quote me on that one though :)
Everything looks great but the generic enemies look straight outta Stranglehold. The AI doesn't look so good in that vid either. Oh well.

The one enemy was just standing then running toward you while you pumped him full of lead. Very good AI.

Haha, that's cool. I'll probably be terrible at the game, so the AI is fine with me. I'm just saying that reviewers might be harsh on it. It does look good sometimes and then there are instances where it looks not so great. We shall see. The platforming and hand to hand combat looks excellent.
The game looks incredibly good, and the gameplay looks fun. The combat simply looks decent, but the platforming looks top notch. If this game rips anything off, it's old adventure novels and indiana jones. This game is markedly different in style from tomb raider, and almost nothing like gears of war (where you couldn't jump).
I don't see this as a perfect game - those don't exist, there are always flaws to any game, but i do see a game that's definitely worth playing and might just be worth paying for. At the very least, its graphics are unbelievable. It knocks any currently released console game out of the park in that respect.

You would be surprised, go look at the Uncharted forum right now..theres a thread in there that basically says as much and there are numerous other comments elsewhere that imply or explicitly state that due solely to some basic cosmetic similarities.

I completely ignore the game boards ever since I read a fan fiction for N3.

They all do. Look at the LO topic and compare it to the folklore topic. Or better yet, look at the halo 3 topic and compare it to the uncharted topic. The site has clearly a majority of ps3 fanboys.
It is comparable to this site which is filled with more xbox 360 fanboys then ps3 fanboys.

Uh, ok. Say what you want...first thing that came to mind when i looked atUncharted was Gears of War. It's virtually identical. Mass Effect allows you to lean on a wall, not to mention it's an RPG, not a shooter. Completely different. Some of the movements in the game are identical to Gears of War almost to the point where it looks like the same movement between the games.
Don't get me wrong, Uncharted looks good. But you can obviously see the developers got a little ideas from Gears of War. It's not a bad thing to look at another game and try to incorporate something from it into your game though. People blow it way out of proportion.

i almost died laughing when i read that part. oh just because you can cast spells, select what you want to say x outs the shooter part of mass effect? oh yah ok. so is mass effect a copy of graw 2 then?
