bro just get what you want. Remember though, you won't be able to watch any flash videos on iphone

blaznwiipspman1
all I really care about is Youtube and Netflix, and neither of them require Flash... I am more thinking about the quality of the video, as I think the picture will be sharper (and obviously larger) on the RAZR, so that is a consideration as well

I prefer the Android OS on the superior phone hardware but iOS devices just work. I'd take the Droid just because that's what I like and if I were upgrading today I would be all over 4.0/ICS. Go for the RAZR, you can install the Amazon Appstore which gives you a premium app each day for free and your phone will fill up with cool apps in no time.

that app thing is pretty cool... the thing I like about Apple stuff is that it is perfect for people who don't care about all the flashy customization stuff, which is me in a nutshell. Basically, it's great for technologically dumb people like me!

So Its between android or iOS personally I prefer Android but if you are on of the people who need their phone for gaming (since you posted this in gamespot forums) thn go with 4s app store got a better selection of games than android market and it runs games better than any android device.

As a droid x owner and having spent a little time with iphone 4s i can tell you the razr will be my next upgrade... you WILL use your 4g far more than you realize and honestly its a big deal that the i phone hasnt jumped in yet. I do like the seri function on the iphone but similar search methods are available on android... oh and the ui is smooth like butter on the droids... soooo fleshed out. I also worried about the size of the phone but you linda just work it out. I put it in my coat side pocket or work bag. Its never been an issue. Either way you go its a cool gift but im a big fan of the motorola droids... and android in General.

I have an iphone and a Symbian, i've had serious issues with my iphone where Siri just won't work at all, i'll have to use a dodgy accent just to get it done at all. Android version seems to be far far better at recognising speech, Siri seems finely tuned towards certain accents and that bothers me.

The fact the "iPhone 4s" has an S in it which i presume is to represent Siri. Get the Android it's life made easy, unlike Apple's model, "Life made the way we want yours to be.. Expensive and Strict!".

Also 4G is a BIG difference, you might not realize it but when iPhone 5 comes out you'll look down at your iPhone 4s like it's outdated.

Why not the Galaxy Nexus? Best phone out there by lightyears.

If you're not going to get a Samsung phone, I'd just go with the iPhone. I doubt you'll be disappointed >_>

[QUOTE="Heirren"]

[QUOTE="Essian"]the iPhone and the Razr I am looking at are the same effing price people. Like three times I have seen people mention that iPhone is more expensive than Razr! NO IT ISNT! The 16gb models are BOTH $199!!!!!Essian

in that case get 3ds and $20 phone

lol, already have a 3DS... which is another reason why I'm not sure that I care about the Razr. My 3DS is my source of portable entertainment, whereas a phone is just a tool for life management... so a bigger screen may not be all that it's cracked up to be. Depends on how much I end up watching Netflix on the go.

In that case, don't listen to the Apple haters. I think the iphone is the most intuitive phone on the market, and that seems to suit your needs. Just remember not to start hating apple when they release the next version of the iphone. The rumor is that the Ipad3 will be announched in March, so it is certainly possible the Iphone5 will be too.

I've had both but would pick the apple product just for the app support. I would say its mainly the games, but there are so many useful apps that its just not the games anymore. One thing to consider with the iphone its the 3.5" screen while its abeautiful IPS 326ppi, it may be a con to someone who is looking for a bigger screen. Oh and rooting and jailbreaking both devices add a lot offunctionality to both devices, like adding wifi tether without having to pay $30 to your provider.
