Yeah just like the GBA and GC... then nintendo started milking in order to play some games(*cough* FF: CC and Pokemon XD) you need a gameboy advance... I don't see why would nintendo do that... oh yeah they wanted you to buy a GBA. Which made me pretty mad knowing I was looking foward to those games in multiplayer mode... but I sure as hell won't buy a GBA.

The article says that they are pictures of Miis in their original conception as being for the DS and not the Wii. There is nothing about some new Mii connectivity with the DS.

For the pics i have seen mii are simple avatars so they cant look bad.See his wii avatar in the lower of the second picture then compare it to the Ds picture.The ds mii looks like a totall freak i cant tell what the hell is it without looking at the guys pic.

True, but if DS / Wii connectivity has been mentioned, and a Mii engine has been built on the DS already, it only seems logical that they'd use it. But *shrug* I'm just posting pics and a link :)

Umm.. I take it no one watched Miyamoto's keynote at GDC? The DS Miis were a creation that got carried over to the Wii Miis. These DS Miis were a beginning of what we have now... as a matter of fact Miis dated back to the Famicom.

You may have a point that some PSP games look like PS2 games, but that doesn't mean they're not fun. PS2 had the some of the best games in its generation. Most PSP games at least have a different storyline or world if it came from a PS2 game. Kind of like how there are rehashes like Mario Kart and NSMB for the DS, you can use the same arguement there.
