Okay TC let me sum it up.
Want traditional gaming? Get a DS
Want mainstream gaming? Get a PSP
Basically let's put it this way.
I'm holding a Dreamcast, N64, and SNES in one hand and in the other I'm holding a Xbox 360, PSone, and PS2 *without as much Japanese support* in the other. Yes I have very big hands. :)
Anyway which hand would you choose if you could own one of these combos.
Like the Dreamcast, N64, and SNES combo? Get a DS
Like the Xbox 360, PSone, and PS2 *with not as much Japanese support* combo? Get a PSP
*Hint I say as much Japanese support because the PSP has very little Japaense support compared to the DS*.
i need something for my 8hr trip which one is worth getting; which has more/better games?da62087boi
It depends. I have a PSP "teh chubz0rs" version and I love it. I have 8 games, Killzone Liberation, Lego Star Wars II (awesome game), Twisted Metal, Lemmings, M.A.C.H., Dark Stalkers, and the Metal Gear game. Those games keep me busy enough. Im still going to get a DS because I like the Mario series of games. All in all I would go with what games you prefer to play as both systems have games to suit your tastes. Or just get both! :D
i guess i cant go wrong with either... is the ds lite the only version or are they selling the the original version still? and when does the the psp slim come out?da62087boi
DS Lite is the only one you'll find and for good reason.
PSP Slim comes out in Japan September 20th, so expect a States release in October or November.
well the PSP is a flop piece of crap with barely exclusives if that's any help
it's not bad if you want to play watered down ps2 ports with a moveable button, most people dont though
