Anyway, for pure traditional RPGs i would go with DS while SRPGs belong to PSP.

Oh sorry lol, I guess I was too much excited about the DS that I made a typo. Do you mean SRPGS as in Strategy rpgs? Because I prefer regular rpgs but I do enjoy the occassional srpg such as advance wars.

Does the DS have online capabilities? I'm mostly interested in the rpgs but does the DS have online for games such as Advance Wars?jeffdoomsday

Yea, but going from people that actually tried the games at DKS event. It seemed that BBP was better, though i believe 358/2 has multiplayer.

Anyways like i stated at the beginning, GET BOTH. Get one now and get one at the end of the year.

There are so many cool rpgs coming out right now.

I'm probably getting the DS when Chrono trigger gets released.

i currently prefer upcoming PSP rpgs over DS rpgs.

no psp game will be better than DQ9, no psp game is better than DQ8 afterall plus the world ends with, age of empires, civilaztion, fire emblem,... DS simply has MORE and BETTER strategy games (even star fox makes a good strategy game), jrpgs, sims(spore, animal crossing), and platformers plus even the mighty socom online community pales in comparison to the huge online community of pokemondarth-pyschosis

Actually the PSP beats the DS so bad that DS ends up looking as a joke. The secret is this my friend: C-FW.

Sounds good to me, I've dreamed a pokemon game like that ever since I was a kid.

Super Robot Wars is better on the PSP than on the DS.

Voice acting+better graphics.

And it's not like those games rely on the touch screen innovation either.

So PSP has my vote.

A title you know practically know nothing about beats giants like TWEWY or Dragon Quest? I think not.

I have not used it but FF3 has online modes and so does many other JRPGS

A cool one I have been reading about is Ragnarok DS,

The game supports Wi-Fi Connection cooperative play for up to three players with 50 multi-player dungeons available.

Their is also a new one coming out latter this year in Japan. So maybe early next year. There is also events held where you can bring you DS to places like Toys -R- US and Gamestop to get rare Pokemon that is not on the game.

Check Gonintendo.com with information on events. There is none coming up right now but they do one about every 3 or 4 months.
