Sure, the apps are cheap, but nearly all of them are fairly average or worse throw-away games that can't compare to the DS' library.

Mine would be the DS. I have the original one and am happy enough with that. I've play on the PSP before and wasn't so excited about it. If the iphone could get a longer lasting battery I'm sure more people would be interested in it.

I've got to say the DS. The PSP is fun, but the controls really cramp my hands.

Haven't tried the iPhone, but I doubt I'd really use it for gaming.

I prefer the DS.

I use to like the psp way more, like thought the DS was a joke.

But recently I figured I would try the new pokemon game since I use to play them and I love the DSi I personally think it is so much better then the psp gaming wise.

The psp is nice with media but I have a phone that plays music so the Ds is the console that wins.

PSP all the way.

Easy one for me: PSP. Better games, better graphics, descent online play for portable, they target older gamers than 6 years old.

I perosnally believe the ds is the best because its something different. Something thats not ur average gaming handheld system. That's what i like about it !

But, i really like some of the games PSP has(FFCC13, Tekken 6 and Bleach: Heat the soul all look awsome)

I take the PSP over all of them anyday, but I also love the DS so I'd take along the way. :P

iphone

If that rumored gamepad adapter for the iPhone came out and games started supporting it, I can see the iPhone topping the list or at least coming close to the DS. The iPhone has the hardware and if you've seen some of the latest games (Supercross XL, Need For Speed: Underground, Assassin's Creed) they are VERY impressive, graphically. Much better than the DS and maybe even the PSP. The problem is the lack of a gamepad. The multitouch works great and a lot of games utilize it well, but nothing beats out a gamepad for handheld precision.

I'd get a PSP just for the heck of it.

DS why?

Huge library of games.

The most quality games.

The most higher rated games.

The most unique, and creative games.

Larger variety of games, AND with that there are some genres that can only be found on the DS.

And, if you have the DS Lite/Phat then you've got 1000+ more GBA titles to choose from which is another of the few systems to ever come out that boasts one of the best libraries of all time.

The system has a consistent flow of great games almost week to week. It's great.

PSP all the way because of games like Tekken 6, Soul Calibur, Little Big Planet, Mortorstorm Arctic, Dantes Inferno, Resistance: Retribution, Patapon, Locoroco, Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero, Hammerin Hero, Killzone: Liberation, GoW,and the list goes on.
