i prefer dual analogue to k/m .. maybe i'm just more used to themakif22
Same. I think the KB/M is more precise but controller are more comfortable and fun to use.
While it may not be as accurate as a mouse and keyboard, I've always preferred playing shooters on controllers.

[QUOTE="Vyse_The_Daring"][QUOTE="-Skyfall"]DualShock 3 - Playable, but not the best for shooters (PC).
360 Controller - Good for shooters, and nothing else. Playing a fighting game on it = LOL

I had no idea that shooters and fighting games were the only genres.
Don't you mean 180, unless the person is doing the moon walk like somebody here had in their sig. lol
[QUOTE="dewmandew7"]It's definitely better than Wiimote controls. *gags*Wanderer5
Let me guess, you haven't play Metroid Prime 3 or Medal of Honor: Heroes 2.
Agreed, i really enjoyed the online in MoH, the controls are very responsive and giving headshots was faster[QUOTE="V_Isle"][QUOTE="Vyse_The_Daring"][QUOTE="-Skyfall"]DualShock 3 - Playable, but not the best for shooters (PC).

Yeah but it was Michael Jackson in the sig and he was doing the moonwalk :PI have tried, i spent around $150 and dual analog shooters last year and really tried... But no, it sucks so much, i really can't enjoy those games.loco145
Tsk tsk, blaming your noobage on the tech....
[QUOTE="wok7"]The analog controller is best for complex shooters like GRAW1/2 and CoD4, while KB/M is far better for simple shooters like Doom and hlVandalvideoThats a crock, especially when Tom Clancy games are a far cry from the complex tactical squad shooters they were on the PC.That has nothing to do with the controller, and everything to do with the fact that the market for highly realistic simulations is shrinking. Look at the death of the military simulator market - back in the day, they had flight sims from every era, helicopter sims, submarine sims, even tank sims. Can you imagine trying to get a tank sim green-lit today?

Ive seen ship sims, sub sims, yes Tank sims, gunship sims ect. All still comming out.
You just have to pay attention to sim releases.
It has not 'died' though it has shrunk - one thing is for sure, its fanbase is still at large.
And to Wok7. GRAW on XBox a complex shooter
Just
The more ArmA I play the more laughable that statement it - that and the controller is better for them
Some console games are built very well for dual analog, while others really do suck. Halo 3 works well, but the dual analog really ruined PDZ for me, it needed more tightning. Constantly missing shoots because I have to aim with an analog stick is frustrating. I know it could have worked if it was as well balanced like in Halo 3.
The biggest offenders for me are games which are built for the PC clearly and ported over. FEAR on the X360 doesn't feel right because clearly its demanding something more accurate, Farcry games on the Xbox bothered me a bit as well.
