Just think how fast critics andpeople on forums like this will rip it apart if it does not have awsome gameplay because the hype and wait has been so long.

What are you talking about? It is on UE3 just like Gears. It will look WAYYYY better than all other UE3 games by the time it is released.

The graphics look like it was made for the N64. The animations were also pretty bad. Better than Gears! :lol:

You're both exaggerating a bit... The truth lies somewhere in between.

For the record, Duke 3D was all about gameplay and an interactive world with every object.

It held up well using outdated sprites against true 3D games likes Quake at the time which pushed video cards to the max

Real Duke fans can only judge by gameplay.. The graphics looks fine to me, I wasn't expecting a Crysis killer.

But, the Duke I remember had a voice that I liked. This "teaser" did not have a voice I liked. For one.

Absolutely amazing, captured the charm of the franchise, I can't help myself, I'm hyped.

The mainpeople complaining are those who are unfamiliar with the franchise, Duke 3D was fantastic, the idea of a sequel after all these years just makes me drool. That line is as good as anything from the original.
