Its only been a decade. With all the other million and 1 shooters out there, Im sure Ill do fine by not anticipating this game anymore. If it comes out kudo's, if not, no sweat off my back... :shock:

They've had publishers who collapsed, more then one, and that ties up licenses and money. Just be glad the Duke is making his way back. That is all that matters.

And man, if DNF ever comes out i would totally buy it just to supporting releaseing canceled games.

That "teaser" trailer didnt show anything that wow'd me. When a gameplay trailer comes out il probably be disapointed aswell. Duke nukem isnt going to bring anything new to the overly saturated FPS genre. just lame 90s action movie star catch phrases and a outdated characters and plots.Gh0st_Of_0nyx

Are you kidding me? How can a character be outdated? It's a teaser trailer, has a teaser trailer ever shown gameplay? And if any genre is over saturated it's the freakin JRPG genre. Oh yeah and Duke Nukem's catchphrases own!

I'll admit, I still look forward to DNF. The Duke is such a great, over-the-top character from a much different era of FPS. There simply is no other character quite like him, even a decade later.

That said, everything in the trailer looked really dark and moody, I hope it doesn't turn out to be a corridor shooter like Doom 3 or Prey. Not that I don't like the occasional corridor shooter, but thats not what the Duke is about. I hope there are open environments and colorful side-characters like those seen in the old trailer from '99 and '01.

People who dislike this probably never grew up with Duke Nukem and don't care for that matter. Suffice to say, the game and the character was more likeable than most of the FPS titles released since.soulsofblayck

To appreciate this, you have to at least enjoyed Duke Nukem 3D. All those enemies appeared in Duke Nukem 3D, although that thing on the ceiling dosen't look like that green slime I'm used to.

Doesn't matter, any true Duke 3D fan will upgrade thier rig or buy it for whatever console it comes out for that they don't have.

It will never understand why Duke Nukem 3d hasn't been released as a XBL arcade/classic game on the next gen consoles. Heck, they could have had it on the old xbox.

I'd love to play some online, LAN deathmatch with that game was INSANE. Jet packs, steroids, shrink rays, laser tripmines, remote pipe bombs, freeze rays, holographic projectors... there was so much freedom with what you could do and how you could kill or trick your opponents.

Please... someone port Duke 3d and Shadow Warrior to the home consoles!!! THESE WERE CLASSICS.

OXM said that they plan on porting it to XBLA and are just waiting for MS approval.
