It's going to be a disappointing Duke game. health regen(no the ego system does not make up for that) and he can only carry 2 weapons? I'm sorry he's the King, not a noob. This is blasphemy in a Duke Nukem game. Plus Gearbox is lame, but on the plus side the Duke is back. *****es, whips, oil, bathroom humor, wise crackin, bubble gum, cigars, monster trucks, and a spot in gaming history. That's like a short RPG, like Chrono Trigger. Pretty cool. Hope it's got the spirit of the older games.

I'm interested to see how much of the current game is 3D Realms and how much is Gearbox. 3D Realms know how to make a great shooter, I haven't enjoyed anything Gearbox has developed since Earned in Blood and before that Opposing Force. Still, there's nothing like a shooter with a long campaign.

Nice to see that it is old school in more ways than one. An old school, campaign driven game that is just a blast to play and is funny as hell to boot. Does not need to be anything more or anything less. Of course people will still over analyze and nit-pick it to death, ignoring what it does right at the core entirely. Namely, provide a good time. Which one would think should be enough.

The rule is, however long they say a game is you divide it by 2 and then add 1. so it will be around 9 hours

I watched some videos for this game, and it makes me think this game will make me feel as cool as Batman: AA did.

Batman: AA made me feel like the coolest person on the planet.

I'm putting all my chips on Duke that's for sure.

Better to have a 16 hour gameplay then a 5 hour instead. In fact didn't many shooters back in last gen use to be that much? So to the people who complain that the game should be longer should go play the recent shooters and then talk about DNF being short. I just hope the game can let you carry more then 2 weapons at a time but at least we get to play it soon anyways.

If you haven't put this on your pre-order list, you should turn in your gamer credentials immediately.

Duke Nukem 3D was rather lengthy, so I am glad they are keeping the trend and not going straight for multiplayer.
