[QUOTE="nutcrackr"]Looks terrible on all platforms.finalstar2007
Couldnt agree more, i dont know why people are excited for this, look average at best
It's duke thats why.[QUOTE="McStrongfast"][QUOTE="tomarlyn"]Virtually identical, nice work.DarkLink77No. 360 demo is terrible. Suppose it's possible it's an old build. But for now, terrible. It's the demo from PAX last year, folks. They've been polishing for a year since then.
Why would they wait till now to release an unpolished, year-old demo that only puts off potential customers? Makes no sense.

The first part was excellent, the second part was sub decent. I bet there will big a massive diffrence trough out the entire game.[QUOTE="PatchMaster"]

Anyway did the FAC code get sent to your email or how did you get it? I got the BoS edition preordered but haven't seen mine yet.
I swear most games with pre-2005 tech have a hideous blurry Photoshop effect slapped on the image even what's in focus, ugh. Still, I don't care much; I take graphics for granted very fast unless a game's a beast from the future.

Did you get a First Access Code with your preorder?PC lacks most common settings to, so they probably decide just to optimize it as it is.360 and PS3 are mostly similar, but since this was being primarily developed on the PC, you can notice the difference between textures and shadows when comparing PC and console.

i think the first pic looks the same, second pic goes to xbox, 3rd to ps3 and 4th looks the same. of course pc looks the best in alljoel_c17Other then lower res on console you don't really think about the shadows either.
Robbaz, next time you should compare the FULL HD 1080P version with 4X FSAA and 16X Anistrophic filtering VS the console version. Comparing console 720P vs PC 720P is USELESS because no one on PC plays at those lame resolution. Maybe if this was early 2000's or late 90's.
I had bad performance with Vsync on. It was bad no matter what settings I had it at.
Phenom II X6 1055T 3.20 GHz

I don't know how some of you guys are getting such bad performance. I played this on my gaming laptop with a Core 2 Duo T5850 and overclocked ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (550/557) and I was able to play it everything maxed out with 0xAA and Film Grain OFF @1440x900 HD. It lagged in outdoor environments but indoors it was 'playable' and that is with everything maxed out minus the AA and film grain.
So, with your specs it should be downright silky smooth a minium of 40 FPS with everything maxed out with 4xFSAA at ATLEAST HD 1680x1050.
It is 1920x1080 on pc.Robbaz, next time you should compare the FULL HD 1080P version with 4X FSAA and 16X Anistrophic filtering VS the console version. Comparing console 720P vs PC 720P is USELESS because no one on PC plays at those lame resolution. Maybe if this was early 2000's or late 90's.

Thanks! Now that looks much better. I really can't imagine playing this on the consoles at lame 720P with low AA, it looks digusting frankly. Console version will look even WORSE on a big screen HDTV. Duke Nukem Forever on the PC FTW!:D
