The little co-op tower defense action game that could, Dungeon Defenders, has achieved 250,000 sales. PC gamers came up with the bulk of the sales, with the PC alone giving Dungeon Defnders 200,000 sales, while the rest of the 50,000 sales being divided up among Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gamers.
See if console gamers would stop pirating the games, they wouldn't see such low numbers. (oh wait, bad logic?) This points the good thread of indie and medium developers focusing more on PC as leads and even leaving the console platforms.
Only big corporate publishers can afford the huge expense of console development and releases and it seems console gamers are less prone to trying out other games, other then the AAA-budget games.
