1. Resident Evil 7

2. Zelda

3. We Happy Few

Genuinely surprised by these 3. The PS4 lineup in general looks killer, Nintendo better be stockpiling games for the NX.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The game looks so refreshing and chock full of features, exploration, and interesting mechanics--an all-around gorgeous game.

I'm a lone soldier voting Watch Dogs 2 eh? Lol I figured.

Watch Dogs one was a very typical open world game that felt...well...tired at the end of a generation over-saturated by games of a similar open world/sandbox style. After a rather considerable delay, that type of game just didn't cut it for most gamers. Which is why I wasn't terribly excited about Watch Dogs 2 headed in to E3, at least until I saw the trailer prior to the show that peaked my interests. With the first game being the way it was I felt very positive about Watch Dogs 2 (it and For Honor are my Ubi "to watch" games), and since I expected nothing I felt it was a good sign when I wanted to see more. In my eyes, its shaping up to be an Assassins Creed 1 type situation. Where the first game is just kind of meh and the second is legitimately awesome (AC2). I haven't placed a pre-order yet, but if it's as good as it looks Ill give Ubi my money.

@charizard1605: It's without a doubt my game of this years E3. I got home from school yesterday and had to study for a refrigeration test today. As soon as I was done I started watching all I could about Zelda. Not because I planned to, because I couldn't stop. It's beautiful.

Zelda because gameplay and gaming is KING not that cinematic, barely interactive nonsense that some devs are making.

I'm having trouble picking one. I really liked Horizon, Detroit, COD and Titanfall 2. I haven't watched any new Cuphead footage and the more I watch We Happy Few the more I like it. This E3 was full of great games across all genres.

Games that surprised me:

  • For Honor
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • We Happy Few (finally some scripted gameplay, all I saw before was non-scripted, the story looks bloody brilliant)
  • Prey
  • All Xbox games coming to PC

Games that met my expectations:

  • Battlefield 1
  • Dishonored II
  • South Park

Overall game of the show for me was definitely Dishonored II

Breath of the Wild. Amazing to go from 2 pieces of concept art to an overload of revelatory information that's better than we could have imagined it to be.

Watch Dogs 2.

I really enjoyed the options the original game gave and overall the gunplay was fantastic. The sequel looks to adress every issue WD1 had. I also enjoyed the narrative of the first game. I love revenge stories.

I accidentally voted for Horizon but it's really for Zelda. This is based off the E3 conference showing but I still need to see in depth gameplay for the games.

I think it's tied between Zelda and Horizon for me.

Days gone was also really impressive with the amount of zombies that were on screen and how fluid they moved, that was insane.

Zelda. Its no contest. Nintendo pretty much skipped E3 and still won. Pretty crazy when you think about what one good game can do.

Torn between Dishonored 2, God of War, Horizon, and maybe Prey if that was actual gameplay in the trailer.

Tempted to pick Dishonored 2 since it was the "meatiest" presentation out of those 4.

Dishonored 2 looked most interesting from the ones with gameplay footage. Not as good as I expected it to be but still pretty good. Followed by Dawn of War 3, Mount and Blade 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn. Prey had most interesting teaser. Overall, Bathesda wins.

What did you think of Zelda?

I didn't see the gameplay when I posted the comment. I think it looks fantastic.

Yup! This is the direction the franchise should have gone in following Wind Waker, or Twilight Princess at most ^_^

Yeah my hours on Horizon 2 is massive, but I haven't played it in a while because my save file wouldn't snyc so I had to start over. Was so bummed about that and put it away.

The best thing for me is that FH3 is set in Australia and Playground have confirmed the map is twice the size of FH2.

Hopefully the voice over guy doesn't talk like Steve Irwin, because your everyday Aussie doesn't speaks like he does.

Haven't seen it all yet, honestly a bit disappointing for me, but my 3 favs so far are:

Mount & Blade 2
South Park

and the one I'm most hyped for is State of Decay 2 - loved the first one and with some gameplay improvements and MP I think this could be a real gem.

In a expedition full of remasters, games that were originally announced years ago and have grown stale in our wait for them, zombie game number 88236, meh sequels, and other just more of the same crap from this E3. The only game that really stood out for me was We Happy Few. It gives off a twisted Bioshocky vibe that I like. Before it's announcement I wasn't even aware of this game, but I sure will be following it now.

Also really excited about the GWENT announcement.

All of them? So many great games announced at this E3, it's hard to choose just one. Best E3 in years IMO. Zelda, Horizon, Detroit, God of War, Sea of Theives, Battlefield 1, even Call of Duty pleasantly surprised me. Can't wait to play them all.

Depends on your tastes, for me it was Forza Horizon 3. Its not just Horizon 2 in a new locale, here are just some of the new features as detailed by IGN:

Twice the map size of Horizon 2, twice as many ecosystem types, 350 cars(which is 150 more than horizon 2 launch), auction house and storefront from Forza 4 return, 4 player coop campaign, "Blueprint mode" which makes you the festival boss and you create your own race that you can even share with friends !

@FreedomFreeLife: Huh? Bruh I have all three systems EVERY generation, and will be getting the new versions of PS4, Xbone, and the NX...it's not bias at all. For me Forza and God of War and Battlefield 1, Final Fantasy XV and RE7, and Detroit were all amazing games, but then Nintendo decided to shit on everyone and just remind the entire industry why Nintendo will at the end of the day always have the greatest library of first party titles. We've seen open world gaming, we've seen the weapons...in fact, we've seen almost EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of gaming shown in the new Zelda. But here's the problem:

This new Zelda is basically all the best parts of the best games of the past decade combined into the Zelda sandbox. There is absolutely nothing about that sentence that makes me not want to play every second of this game and explore every corner of that map.

You guys that only have one system will never understand because you're loyal to a brand. I'm loyal to gaming. And as a gamer, Zelda shit on everything else there and without any kind of struggle.

* Futuristic caves with crazy writing and cool weapons from the future and/or past.

*Lush greenery and huge plains with enemies camping out everywhere.

*Giant mountains as far as the eye can see, all explorable and full of ruins, caves, caverns, temples and more to explore

*Mysterious relics everywhere telling as story

*Insanely quick and crazy violent guardians out to murder anything that moves

*shield surfing downhill while simultaneously assassinating bad guys with a futuristic bow and arrow.

*Rock Climbing and then paragliding into groups of enemies

*Fishing

*item collecting

*Insanely moody and subtle soundtrack

*Taming horses

*Collecting food and creating new dishes

*Cooking said food over a campfire

*Rolling boulders and rocks downhill at enemies

*Building weapons

*Using the limbs of dead enemies as weapons

*The ability to immediately fight the end boss in your underwear with no socks and a stick

*A 30 year old legacy of story, folklore, and legend to guide you through this new story

Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding how any of you are confused that THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD won E3 Game of the Year.

I own all three systems every single generation, and as someone that is excited for a LOT of the games shown this year, not a single one comes close to how excited I am for the new Zelda.

How some of you don't understand why baffles me.

But out of curiosity, can any of you name a game that has everything I just listed that this game is offering? This is a real question. I'd like to know if it's out there.

This game's mechanics and gameplay basically reads like a gameplay greatest hits from every awesome open world game released over the past decade lol.
