E3 2019: Bethesda Showcase (plus Devolver Digital)

What a year it has been for Bethesda. After the silky-smooth launch of the critically-acclaimed Fallout 76, millions of gamers around the world sang their unanimous praise as their beloved publisher delivered promise after promise to their adoring fans. Bethesda then went from strength to strength, single-handedly changing the face of mobile gaming with the release of The Elder Scrolls: Blades, a worthy addition to The Elder Scrolls franchise renowned for its revolutionary and consumer-friendly business model. Still not content to rest on their laurels, Bethesda finished their magnificent 12 months with the release of Rage 2, another outstanding addition to the first-person shooter genre that will live long in the memories of gamers for many years to come.

And now, Bethesda return to the site where this all-conquering streak began, as the entire gaming world quivers in anticipation to find out what they will do next, how many more accolades will they receive from the adoring masses, and how will they once again change the face of gaming in the years to come. We are about to find out.

All hail Todd Howard, saviour of gaming, speaker of truths. Everyone should buy a dozen copies of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and use them to build a shrine in his honour.

If there is no Starfield or TESVI footage it will be a complete flop.

Most Bethesda/Zenimax games are total flops and forgotten trash outside of TES or whatever the core BGS studio pushes out.

Considering Fallout 76 shit the bed, and RAGE 2 was king of a dud after the whole performance they did for it last year. And there's not likely to be much of anything about ESVI or starfield

Mainly want to see more on Wolfenstein... I'm a little worried with the whole "levels will be more open and we're focusing less on the story this time" angle for this one. I need some reassurance.

All i want from Devolver is Metal Wolf Chaos.

I want to see a confession booth on stage with Todd Howard while sweet little lies plays in the background because it just works.

I doubt they will show anything in new since next year we have two console reveals and launches after E3 so they will save the trailer for Elder Scrolls for that and Starfield Gameplay also... We might get a trailer for starfield and a mention of Elder scrolls but not even a trailer.

The year before a console launch E3 is always bad... We get one last must have like Cyberpunk and then its lights out.

I wouldn't mind a little more Kojima. As much as Death Stranding has left me scratching my head, it was still an entertaining kind of puzzlement.

So far we've had a Switch port of a mobile game, an attempt to make Fallout 76 a more generic MMO, a Battle Royale mode that they should have just called "The Death of the Fallout Franchise", a CGI trailer for a semi-intriguing Mikami game (that looks like another open-world shooter?), and tons of ass-kissing from Todd.
