[QUOTE="OremLK"] Brainwashed? We're not the ones espousing silly conspiracy theories as if there's any chance of them being true.
Just because a few developers say the PS3 is easy, that doesn't mean it will be for most of them, and most especially those who have only developed for the PC and the Xbox in the past (like, say, Valve).
EDIT: I will agree, though, that EA fails hard. But not because of this.

Silly conspiracy theories? There is not need for silly conspiracy theories. You see, in the real world, Microsoft does enough shady things to make conspiracy theories irrelevant.
I seriously wouldn't put it past Microsoft to pay publishers and developers to funnel games and timed exclusivity to their console. They've done it with PC games, so why not with PS3 as well?
I laugh at all of these lemming fools that discount Microsofts shady dealings. These near sighted nitwits don't see what MS is trying to accomplish: control of your living room. No holds barred.
Instead of achieving through quality,Microsoft has traditionally fulfilledtheir objectives by buying out, paying off or undercutting their competition illegally. Want proof? Look up a list of lawsuits brought on by governments throughout the world against Microsoft. Want further proof? Look at all of the lawsuits brought up in the private sector.
Do your own researching.
Conspiracy theories? No there is no need for those. Microsoft does enough in the real world to make it plainly obvious to anyone with an IQ to see how they conduct business.
I'd like links to supposed payoffs Microsoft has made and the resolutions of said cases. I can't remember Microsoft "undercutting" in anything recently, either--they have the most expensive operating system, office software, and so on.
And of course they're maintaining a monopoly, but the most important reason they're able to do that is because people are letting them do it by purchasing their products. (Linux and Mac are equally if not more viable these days for home, business, technical, and multimedia purposes, but companies and individuals still buy Windows.) Notice that most lawsuits against Microsoft have been from European governments who dislike free capitalism and prefer no corporations to be large and powerful. They'll take a bite out of MS whenever they can, just for that reason.
Besides, do you honestly think Sony isn't trying to control your living room? They're the ones who felt the need to incorporate an HD video player into their gaming console. They've also had their own share of debacles, like the DRM Rootkit on music CDs disaster.
