Read the link. The part of the chart with higher PS3 revenues were estimates. Only the Q1 through Q3 FY08 were actual sales numbers.

Blu-ray as a whole has a faster transfer rate, but the PS3 Blu-ray player is only 2X speed.

Compare the 2X read speed of Blu-ray to the 12X DVD read speed in the 360, this is why many PS3 games install for faster read times.

I dont understand why people on this site are married to MS. Its so obvious that the PS3 is miles ahead of the 360 in tech. and capabilities its not even funny. I don't own a 360 so cannot say, but I imagine the faster rotational speed would result in noise generation, not that the PS3s cooler is silent either.

i see now people did not "get" what i said. he said there are only advantages, so i named to bad points meaning he was wrong. unless he felt those were good points to the BR disks and the ps3s reader. do you get it now or should i type with smaller words and more spaces?surrealnumber5

I actually was never under the impression that any fiscal year neccassarily corresponds to the actual calendar date. I did, however, believe that EA tracked their fiscal year starting around September-October. Evidently I'm completely wrong. Sorry and disregard my previous statements about the matter.
