So basically EA earned more money by devloping games for the NDS than they did for the PSP.

EA sport games are the best out there period (prove me wrong). Everyone always wanna bring up sales numbers, well sales number and game play proves it.

360 fanboys dont realize it but, Madden has always been better on the Playstation (Madden 08 was the only weak one out of 8 years). Madden is a big part of EA sales.

This could spark a long-term trend that will curtail support for Nintendo platforms and lead to stifled sales. But again, Reggie, not your problem? Nintendo's still at least making money themselves, right? Well, you're certainly doing significantly better than our last place contender...

If we take out the PS2, a last-gen console, then Sony is a distant third. The Wii and 360 are owning the PS3 and the DS is raping the PSP.

But hey, if you're gonna include the PS2, why not include the GameBoy Advance as well? As far I remember, it's still alive as well.

lets use that money ea and make a true NEXT GEN MADDEN on PS3. More than 4 players support, better graphic engine and gameplay.

Those numbers are correct.

According to the source, being SDF? Did you completely miss the point? They have no credibility, therefore the numbers can't be trusted. In any case, numeric discrepancies aside, this just shows that PS3 is leaning on PS2, the last gen console, as a crutch, while X360 and Wii are standing fine on their own.

No kidding. SDF? Please. And Renegade, you may want to compare the software sales of the 360 to just the ps3. No one argued that the ps2 wasn't a juggernaut. Also, you may want to take into consideration that EA makes more money of the compined software sales of the ps2, ps3, AND psp.

Revenue alone by itself is useless as a judgement on anything. Profit:Revenue or Profit:Cost. Example: A blockbuster brings in $150 million. A sleeper hit indie movie brings in $50M. You might jump and say, "whoa, 3x the money." but you shouldn't. If that blockbuster cost 120 million to make, but the indie movie cost $3 million, the indie is more profitable.

Just using revenue is something thrown out for people with like 3rd grade business knowledge (well, 3rd graders who never ran a lemonade stand or washed cars in the summer to make money). and are amazed by big numbers and don't pay any attention to percentages or costs. Its like how credit card companies will tell you one rate like 8%... but not tell you that with daily compounding that rate is actually like 8.5%. Its just something thrown out there because they figure most people don't know any better and will jump on it.

Profit = Revenue - Cost

Remember that. Spending $5 million to make $4 million just drives you bankrupt at the end of the day.
