ARGH!!! *BANGS HEAD ON TABLE FOR MISSING THAT POST*Your character is an undercover cop who infiltrates the Triads. It's nothing like Saint's Row.So what this game's really about? Seem pretty random to me, like saint row.

I wasn't impressed by the gameplay videos I saw, although I enjoyed the past True Crime titles. I guess I'll wait for Gamespot's and Angry Joe's reviews and see if it's worth a shot
Or when u can, play it yourself. lol. Different watching, to that of feeling the game for yourself.I wasn't impressed by the gameplay videos I saw, although I enjoyed the past True Crime titles. I guess I'll wait for Gamespot's and Angry Joe's reviews and see if it's worth a shot

True, but there is not a place near my house that I can rent it, so my only true option is to pirate it and see if it's worth it.I wasn't impressed by the gameplay videos I saw, although I enjoyed the past True Crime titles. Yeah I played TC: Streets of LA and I thought it was generic through and through, and was able to beat it in like 3 hours. I played some of SR2 and thought it was the worst game ever made.[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]

You never played any of the true crime games? The only thing they share with gta is the open world enviro

I'll stick to the brand name GTA for my gangsta sand box games from now on.
I hated those games (especially SR2) but this looks really fun and promising. The hand to hand and parkour elements look great and the world is quite vibrant
I'll have to check out more vids of the world. The video I watched showed the main character fighting three opponents, and it took him a long time to get past and defeat them. I don't think I want a long drawn-out and tiring fighter/brawler that takes a long time to defeat enemies. As someone else said, I'd want the character to be more powerful.[QUOTE="OB-47"]

I'll pm it to you when it's done.
hmm.. I might have to grab this one perhaps. I will since I didn't touch Saints Row The Third really.I'm a bit on the fence for this one, but it seems I'll have to get it. Sauce.

My two current most hyped gamed the last story(Wii) and Sleeping dogs(360) are coming out on the same day. I can not wait to be broke that day.
Cannot wait for this game!
As a huge fan of Infernal Affairs, this looks like my dream come true! (even if it looks a bi tmore silly and mroe funny stuff).
Got it preordered for $30 on green man gaming (steam version), looking forward to trying it next month! This and Dayz I could see myself playing a ton in the next 2-4 months :P
If someone who is good with photoshop,etc.. would liek to make me a sig that would be awesome!
Then this is your game.[QUOTE="KiZZo1"]
I want a powerful character like SR3 or JC2
mitu123
Yeah but he is more action hero powerful(batman), not human tank.
The game uses the same fighting engine as batman AC and has moves provided by George saint pierre.
The saints row series is one of my favorites but 3 dissapointed me in how much it was not like the others among other flaws.

Hello sir, Please make me a FC3 sig. Thank you :) I'll see what I can do.Is this the game that was formerly a part of the True Crime franchise? If so, do not want.getyeryayasoutThe game was built up from ground as a new IP long before SE bailed United Front out. It was Activision's idea to give the game the "True Crime : Hong Kong" name just so that the game can "sell" more.
Looks cool. Hong Kong is a nice change from USA.locopatho
Indeed, from what i've seen with videos this could be a sleeper hit.

The gameplay from hand to hand combat and vehicle combat, the call tracing and the city setting really look great.[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]

At first I thought it was just going to be another generic True Crime game, but now I know better. The only question remaining is which system to get it on?
Ill wait for the more credible reviewers first. The game looks like a 7/10 at best.stuff238I think a big part of it will depend on how interesting the story is to play out... But I think it will be at least an 8 - 8.5. The Yakuza games are fun as hell, and this actually looks better than them in some ways. With the exception of Batman, looks better than most open world games of the last year or so too imo.I'm looking forward to it.
