EDGE: 54% of Wii games are TRASH

I dont like Edge not because they are harsh, but because they have NO standards and hardly justify their low scores. I mean Dementium got a 5/10

90% of the games are trash to me. There's not one game that comes to my mind that makes me even care for the Wii, except possibly Metroid.

I didn't think Edge was really respected around here, but that's beside the point. Wii does have a lot of crap games, but other systems do too, and the Wii has a lot of quality games. I love how select people around here take every opportunity to bash the Wii but don't bother playing many games for it, if any at all.

they gave R2 a 6, MGS4 an 8 (they also said raiden was still a lame character too! i'm not sure they were playing the same game i was)

Isn't Edge the poster boy for 0-10 grading? Like, a 7 from Edge is considered a good game?
Then why are they limiting the Wii's good games to 85 and above?

I mean, I like to bash the Wii every now and then, but Edge is pretty :roll: worthy.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

But that also means that the other 35% of those games are good and, like it was already said, that's plenty for the average gamer.

no, just they seem to grade games lower than others. (and their MGS4 came out a bit before the game, and saying raiden wasn't cool makes me think they didn't finish the game, they also said the ending was lame. really? i know opinion is opinion but a mgs fan knows thats a good ending, maybe not the best)

Percent = 44.6% of 360 games are trash.

That's alot. Which is why I can make the arguement almost 1/2 the game on the 360 are trash. I bet it's even more lopsided for the PS2. The most popular system will always attract the most rubbish.

No the remainder of the percentage ranges from great to average, not good. And I really don't think you can make the assumption that "normal" people would be happy with it's library.
