Sounds like a ps3 fanboy is a little upset that some critics are saying bayonetta is better than Gow. Grow up. Its their opinion. Not yours. But apparently the game is fantastic. So i doubt their opinions are much different from anyone elses. (As far as critical reception goes) And if im not mistaken, didnt Famitsu give it a 40/40?

as usual lol all all the opinionshields in this thread. bayonettas in game combat is disgusting sick, i saw some dudes demoing it at fan expo back in september and they were performing some very impressive, technical feats in that game. its objectively deeper and more technical than god of war.

on the other hand, i personally didnt find it to be much fun, but maybe it was because you need to delve a little deeper into it? i was just kind of toying around with the demo unsupervised. either way i think it looks like it could be a great game but im skeptical now.

Bayonetta is possibly the weakest and lamest ripoff of GoW, the game looks bad, and it feels bad, i cant seriously see another reason for such good scores other than being really well payed...

I have a strong feeling that I'll be enjoying Bayonetta a lot more than any of the God of War games. Bayonetta has more style and craziness. God of War is just some muscular dude ripping heads off.

To be honest, I don't see what so cool about Kratos. He wears bearskin briefs and is bald, and he is supposed to be cool?? It must be that blue skin tone that he obtained from sleeping in a tanning machine for way too long. He walks around with an attitude thinking he is badass. Ofcourse pimple-faced teenagers think that is cool. A brainless behemoth walking around killing everything.

PS3 fans just face the facts. Both Edge and Famitsu have declared Bayonetta to be the better game. To make it even better, it also looks and plays much better on the XBOX360. Bayonetta nullifies the advantage PS3 had with GOW3. Another win for the box.

well Edge can have their opinions like everyone else... Personally the only game out of Bayonetta, GOW3 & DI i'm looking forward to is GOW3...

However i do like Bayonetta's art style & combat, its seems fun... probably will end up getting the game on 360 when it gets cheaper..

I am not going to go in the conversation. But edge, and Famitsu are basically jokes. And I actually despise Famitsu gametrailers and IGN equally, and Edge to a lesser extent. IGN, Famitsu and Gametrailers just attempt to appease everyone. Lets give this game a score in which everyone will like. Instead of giving the game a score that it deserves. IGN scale goes up to 9.5/10 since mgs4, and gta 4 debacle. And Famitsu in its 20 year have given 15 games a 40/40. And in the 2 years have given 7. They basically are appeasing to hype which is the reason why games that were actually average (monster hunter tri, super smash brothers brawl, and ff12) got the score so japanese gamers can be happy. Edge I hate for a different reason. They are elitists who actually attack some developers viciously and praise others for no apparent reason A good example of this is bioware who they viciously gave mass effect 1 a 7/10, and dragon age a 5/10 on different grounds in which they reviewed something like halo odst. They do at least put out their opinion

Fair enough. I'm inclinced to think that's the exception to the rule though. For me AC is an example of a game that I thought was mediocre but got pretty good reviews nonetheless. Generally speaking I think reviews are pretty good indicators for the quality of the game. Bayonetta seems to actually deserve its praise.

bayonetta should not be compair to godf of war or devil may cry. but should be compaired to ninja gaiden since the game is very fast very responsive and from the looks of it it has hundreds of combos and juggles. i like games like this hope when it gets released it wont disappoint
