I didn't make the PS3 list, only the other lists. I messed up on the Wii list, as it should be 1 exclusive.

Most of those games could deserve a spot in the top 10. Dark Souls does in no way deserve that spot though. DS had as many faults it had good things. They're just giving in to this seemingly public consensus that Dark Souls is the best game ever. It clearly isn't, couldn't even fall under opinion.

Yeah I never understood the attraction of this game.. I remember sitting down with friends and playing it.. And just being baffled that people actually found it fun and enjoyable.. It was the first game I ever came across that I never understood the appeal for it, EVER.. Every other popular game out there I have played but didn't like I at least understood why people liked it (but knew it wasn't for me), but not this one..

Top 10 lists encapsulating an entire generation and multiple platforms are rubbish to begin with.. No one could make a quality list out of that, that could make sense..

5,6, and 9 can promptly **** off, and the wrong Galaxy game is on the list, but otherwise not bad top 10. Dark Souls, Bayonetta, Portal, Street Fighter 4, and The Last of us are legit, I can respect why CoD4 is there, and Galaxy 1 is a typo.

It's awful, it's really the definition of a game that people like not because it actually plays well like a game. The thing is trash plain and simple. I don't like GTA for example but I at least grasp why people like that shit, LBP, nope, garbage with 0 redeeming qualities.

My bad - I misread Demon Souls, 2/10. :-/

them pc exclusives games are too shit for Edge's top 10 games of the generation. At least they got that right. lol And The Last of Us too.

The Flop shall chime in-

LBP suffers from the same problem as Puppeteer- a very highfalutin' presentation and narration and whatnot hampered by weird, floaty platforming mechanics. It's the same with Tearaway although a little improved in that title. It's a trend with Sony platformers ('cept Ratchet if you strictly consider that to be a platforming IP). Nintendo - Godfathers of the genre - have nothing to worry about. Their platformers are so much more fun to actually play.

It's an alright list. I'd stick an XCOM, Advance Wars and a Halo in there somewhere.

Some great games on that list. The order of things is something else entirely, but whatever.

Portal is alright (not top 10 material) but everything else is mainstream trash.

everything wrong in gaming is there. movie (the last of us), childish games (LBP, smg, bayonetta), casualized console to lowest common denominator (COD4), and GTA (one of worst franiches of all time)

When all consoles have is exclusives, they better make some lists. BTW, Portal started has a PC game. Difference is we don't have a controlling company to keep them exclusives to sell hardware.
