FFVII Remake would without a doubt be their most successful remake (profite wise) no doubt. Personally though I think they should follow what Imsoniac did, release the new game via Playstation Store.

I could care less what other people think. Plus, I said IMO I think the game is terrible. The game was like a Bad B rated sci-fi movie. The story line had more holes than a block of swiss cheese. Boring characters. Cloud is a little retard He's a mental case with all his personalities. I swear I play games to get away from reality. I like to play someone bad ass. Cloud is a wuss and possibly the worst character ever. In fact the highlight of the game for me was when Aries died. This isn't the thread for it but I can go on and on. Don't even let me get started on Barret.

The article looks like it was written by a fanboy who only played FF7, declared it the best game ever, and refuses to play any other RPG out of fear it will tarnish their FF7 experience. While it would be a good game I seriously doubt it would be looked at over FFXIII. The original sold around 9 million copies between the PS1 and the PC, not counting illegal ROMs circulating around the Internet. If they don't already own a PS3 I doubt they would buy one just for that game if they didn't already buy one for FFXIII before the 360 announcement.

Even if they do remake it there is no guarantee it will come out soon. The FFIV remake just came out last week and the PSP and DS remakes of FF 1-3 came out in order before this game. Chances are they will remake V and VI (one I would really like to see redone) before they get to VII. There's no guarantee it would be a PS3 exclusive anyway, for all we know it could follow the current trend and be remade for the DS...

I might give it a look see, but on the 360, where it would inevitably be since Squenix now seems to love Microsoft.Vaasman

I dunno, it seems SE hasnt given MS full support like they did sony, or nintendo. They seem to be doing alot of SHARING as opposed to exclusive support like they usally tend to do. I think MS is pooring alot of money trying to get SE on there side. Now this could, infact lead to FFVII going multiplat, but I also hear that the creator of VII,as well as KH and XIII versus is not a big fan of MS...but thats a rumor and money talksso we'll see
