"I find it hard to believe anyone could play for more than six or seven levels before just typing in random things to see if they're there and whether they can beat Cthulhu in a fight. But then, doing that is utterly brilliant. It's like trying to wash the car and ending up having a water fight. The water fight is tons more fun than the car washing, but then you're wet and tired and it's time for tea."

Eurogamer makes me tired. It's not the score, really, it's just the tone.

yeah they go out their way to make games look bad its like the british code to rate harshly. Thank you Simon Cowell for making that popular.

We just have more sophisticated pallets. although i tend to disagree with the scores they give, the reviews are very well done.

Well thats one down for the GOTY race and Batman still leads really. It was always the risk though wasnt it? You have this wonderful "concept" rather than an entire game. Its fun to play with but what happens when you actually sit down to finish it from start to finish?

I've seen a lot of previews of Scribblenauts. From the beginning I knew it would be a great game, but not so great that it would be AAAA like many sheep are hyping it to be.

Says in the review that he died many times because of the bad controls.

I hate bad controls in videogames.

I was probably a little harsh in my previous post: Although many Nintendo fans here will be disappointed with the result, you can still keep your heads up high and be proud of your platform for trying something inventive and new! They deserve that much at least! Well done!

Oh well. Not AAA. 8.7 is still a damn high score though. Only .3 off.

I'm guessing 7.5-8.0 here...but ya never know, GS lives to surprise.

I can't believe it. I thought this game will be an AAAAAAAAAA that makes other games look like a joke. Guess I was wrong.

The game is definately fun... but not something that holds my attention for long. Also due to the DS's limited hardware capabilities.... there isn't much in the way of physics from what I can tell. I'm not blaming anyone or anything.... but the game could have been so much more, with more powerful hardware behind it.

They really should've just went with the face buttons instead of using stylus to move around. Other than that, the game's well worth it's price tag :), very fun title

i love eurogamer :P time for tea lulz I need to wash my car D=
Move the camera away from Max and it will very quickly snap back to him. This is ridiculous, meaning you have to holding the camera in place to execute anything complicated, especially when working on traps. And it means you'll always miss the best bits of fights as it cruelly drags you away. Again, a decision made seemingly to annoy the player, serving no apparent purpose.eurogamer
yeah... that's awful
