Elden Ring SotET broke hermits, and exposed to the masses how pathetically bad they're in video games. Its over.

I am not running anything OP, nor do i want to run anything broken. Way before the dlc was even released, i was playing with a jumping L1 spam build in pvp with 2 Grave Scythes (with royal knight's resolve ash of war on main hand) cuz the animation is pretty good, has a good hitbox and damage is great, so it gave me an idea as the first thing i try in the dlc, so that's what i run atm. And i run a Faith build, so i swap between fire and holy damage depending what's the weakness of a boss.

@hardwenzen: Good Luck beating the last boss on your own at that level, good grief!

I should probably be using more of my consumables more often such as rune arcs. Have tons of those. I always hoard those things but hold off on using them because, “just in case”. 😅

I don't know what the hell the point of a rune arc is anyway. I just end up dying when I use one and beat the boss on my 50th try, without rune arc.

@Sam3231: They activate whatever Great Rune that you have equipped.

Don't have many of those sadly. I think I have like... 2.

@Archangel3371: I get that. They're consumable and you can't craft them, eventually they run out... and what if you really need one later and can't get them, or what if you choke on the run where you use one and then it's a waste...

I tend to never use items like that in any game.

@girlusocrazy: I think most of them you can craft such as the various things that buff you against lightning, fire, holy, etc. Also never really used any of the various pots to throw at enemies. I’ve just always had this habit of hoarding these things in these type of games. End up finishing RPG’s with a ton of potions, ethers, pheonix downs, etc. 😅

@Archangel3371: Yeah I just meant with the Rune Arcs.

I should really use those pots, I haven't really used them either. Mostly just applying buffs to my weapon and using that physick flask during certain situations.

But having some pots ready sounds like a good thing to get into now though and I think I'll look into that.

Haha in Iga's Castlevania games I never want to use any items, and there are so many unique ones it's fun to see them all in the inventory and look at the icons and descriptions and see if I can get 99 of each. Not sure why but seeing everything full gives me a kick!

As per yesterday, the DLC is completed with my dex dude. Hoo-wee, that was a fight. Now I can't wait to see how my sorcery character will fare.

Hermits must be really bad at video games if a woman can complete the turdtree using a dance pad.

Son started playing Dark Souls 3 and beat the first boss. I'm a proud papa.

@last_lap: In my defense, if I played Souls games 10 hours a day for 7 years, I'd probably beat Radahn with a dance mat too.

Watching MissMikkaa streaming on Twitch now and she’s currently playing Shadow Of The Erdtree simultaneously on two platforms. PS5 with controller and PC with a dance pad. Crazy.
