[QUOTE="TekkenMaster606"][QUOTE="shungokustasu"][QUOTE="mexicangordo"][QUOTE="shungokustasu"] I agree except that Street Fighter 3: Thrid Strike is balance also. Another balance fighter is Melty Blood, but that's for the hardcore gamers like me.

wait street fighter third stike is most definatly NOT balanced, ever been to a tourny? Then you'l know that everyone uses Chun, Yen, and akuma, and oro the most, why? because there top tier.

First, I'm a ST3 tourny player. Second, it's Yun not Yen. Third, Oro and Akuma is not top tier. Fourth, VF has a top tier list. Fifth, top tiers don't mean the games is not balance. Just show who has the advantage over who.

Which is why you'll never beat me if you're using Kuma and I'm using Steve Fox. :P

If you got Nina Williams, maybe. :)

I just have this feeling you don't know how to use Steve...

whoa whoa whoa,  calm down there buddy. First of all silly typo second of all, yes oro and Akuma are top, third, although im not a frequent third strike player (i mostly due SSB and MvC2) i know how things are as well. And i never said VF didnt have a tier list, and yes top tiers does mean a *fighting* game is not balanced.

He's at the top in Tekken 5, of course I know how to use him. It's required learning for any competitive player.

EGM is too quick to give out perfect scores to games. I don't trust their reviews like I used to.

ST3 Tier List:

Both Gouki and Oro are mid tier players. If VF has a tier list, then wouldn't it not be balance? According by what you say.

March EGM rates VF5 for the ps3.

9.5 10 9.5

I know its EGM and not the spot but those are dam good scores. They are tough reviewers sometimes.

Great scores.  I actually used to be an avid reader of EGM (for over 10 years actually) before I set up camp here at GS.  I think there are two ways you can look at reviewing VF5:  one, from an arcade-to-console perspective (an outdated perspetive in my opinion since arcade technology no longer has its advantage over consoles) or two, from a "what have you done for me lately" persepective (i.e. new features, innovations, etc OVER its arcade coutnerpart).

I believe GS will take the former into account when rating the game.  Therefore, I think VF5 will be hard pressed to achieve much over an 8.9 or 9.0.

I'm hardcore with SF3 and Tekken. I'm a natural with SC, Melty Blood, VF, GG, and KOF. I practice on SF3 weekly, just to go to tournys here. My PSN iD is shungokustasu, just look me up.
