MP looks fun now I would to see how boarding ship will work.
They'll probably add it during the beta stage
The price still makes me skeptical at this point but I guess I'm going have to wait and see

Cheapest is 75 dollars since you get the entire game except for the expansion and access to beta.
Doesn't look as deep as Star Citizen
Explain
Both games seem to be aiming to do alot...ED is just way ahead in development.
The studio working on ED are fairy large and have been around for ages and has lot more manpower in the beginning compared to SC who's developer had to hire more people to work on their game. I guess that's probably why there at beta stage.
elite dangerous seems to be more around fun while Star Citizen has the simulation, high-tech realistic thing going on. Either way I'll probably get both, been years since a legitimate space game came out. I remember waiting for jumpgate evolution for years and it got cancelled :(

I think there doing a lot of similar things its hard judge when Star Citizen hasn't released the dogfight module yet.

we've seen in game flight from both. Definitely seen more than nothing, Star Citizen is focusing on the micro detail while ED seems to be on the large scale interactions

Spaceports reminds me of those borg ships from star trek. That's a lot of detail for one station I can't imagine what it like walking inside one.
How do the ship's handle in both SC and this game here? Do they actually handle like ship's in space or planes in the air ala star wars ( fake as hell )? Bit of a deal breaker for me. Anyone who has played Evochron Mercenary should know what I'm talking about when it comes to dog fighting in space.
once upon a time i read all these words regarding star citizen's flight model:
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/12741-Physics-Not-A-Dirty-Word
i can't remember it all but i remember i felt happy about what it says.
as for elite dangerous, I'm not sure - sorry.

Watching Star Citizen I've seen small customization aspects of ships, including the landing gear deployment small mechanics and the bathroom/living quarters/cargo hold and how the ship flies based on a purely physics based engine. The flight seems to need work it does not seem natural or organic yet, all the ships seem massive with minimal agility even the smaller ones. (The missile lock obviously needs fixing as well)
Whereas with ED I've seen large docking scenarios, lots of capital ship battles, flying through and destroying components of the capital ships.
Sure each game will have similar components but the huge emphasis on in game assets in star citizen in comparison to the emphasis on combat and capital ships in ED will likely demonstrate different strengths. SC will most likely have better customization and more unique possibilities where ED will have more large scale encounters with multiple capital ships and smaller fighters along.

ED does have some pretty impressive looking Capital Ships and I think they might be a bit bigger than the ones in SC but I heard you can't pilot those kinds of ships in the game unlike in SC.
Star Citizen is only just beginning the first stage of alpha so they haven't gotten into those kind of stuff yet.
Looks like I underestimated what they have accomplished so far because I was thinking the stations in the alpha were small. Now what I seriously want to see is some walking up and about on a station with your character. Is it just the exterior and internal ports of the station that are finished or are they saving that part for a later update.....
I'm curious to see the interaction between the NPCs but I guess that will have to wait much longer.
Also have they given the info on how big these stations are since they look a lot bigger than the capital ships we seen.
