Read my first post, where I say, I don't really mind it gets port but I'd rather pick a PS3 ver,. because IMO it would be better.

that is true, but its not like all of MGS's fanbases are still gunning for sony, i know several, including myself, have stopped eyeing the PS3 for now since e306, we all have 360s(coincidentally all through birthdays) so im guessing alot of the fanbase may have become iffy on the PS3.

Don't bother. I saw that and other inaccurate posts, but they don't come back to read it, and if they did, they wouldn't believe you.

I got an e-mail about two days ago asking me to take a marketing survey about the 360 and related products. One of the questions was "Would you like to see MGS4 on the 360?" and "Would you buy a 360 just to play MGS4?"
I did not think much of this survey but now Joystoq and a few other blogs seem to think that this now means the MGS4 on the 360 is still a posibility. Why would MS make such survey unless they had some kind of dialouge going on with Kojima and Konami.
Either way its all good, but I would rather play it on my 360 for the achievements. Although if its a timed exclusive I might have to get it for both.

Things like this have been done before, it does not mean it will happen. Did Ninja Gaiden ever go to PS2 or Cube? Tecmo did a poll and most probably a newsletter or survey such as this. I can't confirm the latter since I was not signed up for their newsletter but I am sure they did it.

I don't want MGSIV going multiplat. I want Kojima focusing completely on making the one version extremely good.
I'm not too fussed about GTAIV because it's pretty much always been developed with the idea that it will be ported but MGS isn't, and if Kojima works hard enough the game may even get GOTY.

Sony is all but relying on MGS4 and FFXIII to sell their new system. The ps3 is on a razors edge between being a total failure and a passable console. The blue ray, the cell, the 1080p nonsense can only take it so far for the whopping $600 price tag. Taking away MGS4 is certainly a very important move to completely obliterating this sub-par system from existance. I for one beleive it will happen. The System War is on ! and more savage than ever ! GAME ON.
