They can think what they want. The review was again skewed towards it being a great game, but becuase of some bugs we have to give it only a 8.5, even after a lot of praise.

Checking through Kevins past reviewed games. He tends to differ from the norm. Assassins Creed ... Wow. Soon as i upgrade this box i call a computer, im picking this up.-Snooze-

The "norm" according to system wars or Metacritic? Metacritic actually has several 9.0+ for Assassin's Creed and quite a few of us agree with that score.:|

Ah, so if you don't agree with every other review out there then you're no longer credible. Got it.

First of all, an 8.5 is by not means a "flop". Secondly, If gamespot wants to be harsher on games, they should do so uniformly. I understand that console titles get a handicap when being reviewed because of the lack of good competition but even on the PC there are still discrepancies in the gamespot scoring.

Just take a look at gamespot's highest rated PC games ever list (http://www.gamespot.com/reviews.html?type=reviews&platform=5&mode=all&sort=score&dlx_type=all&sortdir=asc&official=all) and you'll see what I mean. Irregular and sometimes very irrational is the name of the game.

Not too surprised. Gamespot typically doesn't give PC games much credit. 90% of the time they break from the norm to be "cool". It sorta annoying to be honest. Halo Wars for example. I still can't believe how inflated their MGS4 score is. Ah well, i stopped trusting GS reviews a long time ago.

What's ironic is that i have had zero crashes with Empire Total War. Zero. No other issues either. This review fails. It's nice to see someone doing something purely for "Wow..." factor.

My point exactly. I would have given fallout 3 on the PC an 8.5 or an 8.0. Very irregular and unusual.

That is most certainly a flop. Didn't expect it. I'd have to play the game before I make my judgements...

Hmm was expecting more...oh well I think it's a great game.

It's an awesome game, i'm loving it... runs well on a GTX 285 :)

Gamespot doesn't know how to score rts games anymore ( I know ETW isn't only an RTS)... Dawn of war 2 inovates and try to shake the genre and it gets an 8.5 as well... Just look at the average of all websites :), more credible than these disguising video reviewers from GS....
