The Halo mythos rips off other properties much more than it rips off Ender's Game.
For instance, it seems like most of the military was based off Starship Troopers.

They are quite similar, but to be fair, they're both just standard helmet-wearing body armoured soldiers. There's not really any other way you could do it.

I'm not thinking about the movie. I'm thinking about the books. The use of powersuits to vastly improve an individual infantryman. Dropping soldiers into combat zones from space. The military being based on a peaceful, Earth-like planet far away. I'm sure there's other stuff I could pick out if I was more familiar with Halo.
There's nothing wrong with that, of course, and Starship Troopers is a very influential book. My post was mostly meant to highlight that pointing out Halo borrows from other science-fiction properties is pretty much old news.
