Honestly, completely not possible on a controller. And btw, be glad most of these guys have move on from PC gaming because this is what the competition at CPL used to look like. Watching console Halo kings play is ... rather funny when comparing them to the twitch reflexes this guys had.... :P btw if anyone else has cool vids to back up their arguments feel free to post. I know we all love watching awesome players play !

:) you're right my bad, I don't play many fps anyway not really my gener but when I do play Crysis Warhead on my PC is still use a controller sue me.

As much as I love and remember my old CS: Source days, I prefer gaming on my couch now. After playing Modern Warfare 2, it feels like console fps games have come pretty far. A little auto-aim goes a long way.

If you like auto aim why not just play on PC with Aimbot? To me auto aim or any sort of assist is cheating, simple as that.

Words cannot describe how much I love KB&M controls.

I recently played through HL1, and I can say I did enjoy the aiming better with the mouse, but I felt silly whenever I had to platform in that game. Maybe I'll use a controller in my left hand and the mouse in my right.

Everyone has their opinions about KB&M or Controllers. I personally feel KB&M is way too easy, since you get laser targeting (an please don't even say KB&M is harder to do. ANYONE can get good at it in a weeks time). While with a controller, you have to actually time your shot (you know, like you would a REAL gun). Course, the only thing that drives me crazy about console FPS is that most of them have auto-aim. Thankfully, my favorite online shooter on a console doesn't have enough to notice it.

You're forgetting that most PC games are dominated by players who are too skilled, this causes problems for me because I can't be arsed getting killed all the time. At least on console shooters, the worst player can kill the best player.. and that's what makes it fun. I prefer sitting on the couch and just fidgeting everywhere with a controller, they're more comfy, easier to use, there's absolutely nothing wrong with using a controller for FPS. You're a bit of a loser if you're going to moan about the accuracy.

Just to let you know i've played it with the KB n mouse before, I don't mind the mouse but the keyboard part annoys me. And I play using a xbox360 controller But I dont konw what auto aim you are referring to sir...you can switch dirctly from keyboard n mouse to controller playing crysis at anytime in the game, it's the same.

I'll give you a 3 months of playing Counter-Strike and then try playing against good players. You'll still get owned.

Sure you can get USED to it in a few weeks, but it takes a lot more time and skill to master than controllers.

It's scary how quickly and accurately one can aim with KB&M controls. I'd probably PWN in MW if I didn't mess around so much. I can't help but to hunt down those enemy copters like a dog until they're burning craters in the ground even if it means I die 3 or 4 times in the process.

I've played Crysis and I just can't imagine shooting with the controller. Just seems beyond aweful to me.

I like controller better. I used to use Keyboard + Mouse until I got a hernia.

I still prefer console gaming (even though i have a 28" computer monitor, an i7-920, and a good video card). Nothing makes me more tired than the superiority complex of many of the hermits on this board.lhughey

I was playing L4D on my laptop with some friends and decided to use the controller. I did about the same as I did with a mouse/keyboard. I also consistently got the most headshots... and my friends were all using Mako Death Adders and such.donalbane

There is no debate, only fanboys who refuse to recognise the right tool for the job because they have no choice in the matter.

When I play a shooter I use a mouse and keyboard, when I play a game like Devil May Cry I use a game pad. I have a choice so I don't dispute what's good for what, console gamers are stuck with just a game pad most of the time; so some of them rationalize it is good for everything.

KB+M is much better than a control pad for FPS games. SEGA Dreamcast fanboys found that out during the time Quake3 was released on DC when PC players could play against there fellow DC players and rape them very badly indeed. It was that bad for the DC players that the game was patched so PC gamers could not play against the consolites......

KB/M is good for aiming and all but i still prefer controller
